I ordered a Gyro plate, which to their defense would have been tasty if I was paying $15 but the plate cost me $26, +tax+tip which took it up to a total of $33. Originally I wanted a simple Gyro but for $16 and no side salad or patatas, I feared it would not be enough. So decided to order a Gyro plate thinking for $26 should be amazing. The plate was mediocre, and the tables were dirty (you can tell they attempted to “cleaned them up”) The food tasted like everything is supplied by Sysco or a restaurant supply store.
I did not get sick from the food. However, I will not be revisiting this place. Premium prices for budget ingredients.

We were extremely disappointed with our meal. We ordered Togo so I could not send it back or talk to management. The falafel was super dry and crumbly, the chicken is unedible, it's sour and so dry I had to throw it out. The tzatziki was watered down and the tahini had no flavor. The only good thing was the gyro that my husband had so at least he was happy. Service was good but the food needs serious help. $32 for a kabob plate is outrageous especially for the quality. I expected much more. We are sad because we love Greek and I have been wanting to try this place for a while

This is some of the best food I’ve had in San Diego. Small family owned business, food was freshly prepared and tasted amazing. Back patio was perfect for lunch, generally quiet and spacious. I will definitely be dining here again.

I don’t like to badly review a family run restaurant but I also don’t like to spend $60 on such poor quality poorly tasting food. I don’t understand how this place has 4.5 stars?? Mind blown. My partner and I have had a lot of amazing Greek and Mediterranean food across SoCal, South Africa and the UK and this was the worst we’ve ever had BY FAR. The falafel was dry and crumbly, texture was as if it was heated in the microwave, the hummus had no flavour and not smooth, chicken and gyros were bland and too oily, tahini was bitter.
And all so much money it’s a shock. $32 for that combo plate that was small portions of meat. We spent $60 on one combo platter, a side of hummus, and 3 small falafel. We should have walked out when we tasted the appetizers but we wanted to give the place a chance.
We’re really surprised after reading reviews. We expected really good quality food. Especially at those prices.

I’m a huge Greek restaurant fan and have tried them all. But this restaurant is next level and easily stands out above them all. I eat at the Greek Corner Café at least twice a week. The food is absolutely phenomenal. If you want the best quality Gyro meat, best quality chicken kebabs, lamb shanks, hummus, rice, salads etc,. this is the place. The prices are incredibly fair. The service is personalized and attentive. With a relaxed atmosphere and a large portioned meal, I always leave fully content. Also, I make the trip from Temecula just for this restaurant.. that’s how good it is.

I went on Christmas Eve to get a quick lunch with a friend and ended up staying longer talking to the owner. He personally delivered our food and it tasted amazing. Hummus with meat was a new combination for me and I’d definitely come back again.

I ordered a chicken salad. It was for $23. Very overpriced. Chicken is so chewy that I need to gulp it down with water. Very very bad. Wont be ordering or eating here again.

Goodbye CAVA. Hello Greek Corner Cafe!!!! Salads with fresh LETTUCE, TOMATOES, FETA, AUTHENTIC OLIVES, YUM YUM!
THE DOLAMITES WERE SPICED BEUTIFULLY and the service during the lunch rush for my to go order pleasant and quick!!
I have found CAVA to oversaturate the flavors with sodium and was looking for a truly fresh salad and well made meal and found it here!

I ordered falafel wrap last night. It was really really dry for the price they charge. We also waited a lot while we were there. Cava or Kebab Shop has better flavors and quality. No dressings offered or I guess its extra. The bread was definitely very soft and fresh but it was my first time and dont think we will be back. The customer service could also be little better, felt little unwelcomed. However I think its run by family and I could see them working hard there so wish them all the luck and good wishes. The review is strictly about the falafel wrap.

Friendly owner, and cozy atmosphere, but food was very bland. We got chicken and souvlaki wraps, and both were very tasteless.
