Visiting from PDX. I got a shih kabob platter (lamb) It was huge. I would have liked to see a platter with smaller potions. The lamb was great. I can not eat gluten or dairy. They were able to accommodate the no dairy, they did not have gf pita bread tho. I have been to other Mediterranean restaurants that did. Overall it was good. The server was great. Prices were I suppose appropriate for the area. I will have to go to other restaurants to evaluate properly.
Dietary restrictions: Dairy free sauce no gf options..

I ordered the best yummiest Avgolemono soup. It tasted close to what I made for many years. Perfect for a rainy day afternoon snack! Service was friendly and kind. I will definitely be back for more soup. ❤️

Dinner for 7 tonight. We were greeted warmly. Service was prompt. Food came quickly and was excellent throughout a broad variety of orders. Rather understated atmosphere, but that's not really why you visit. If interested in Greek/Lebanese food, this is a good spot to find it.

Excellent Gyros. This small restaurant is tucked away towards the exit of the shopping mall. But don't be discouraged by it's almost hidden location. The food was great, the Gyros sandwich was overflowing with meat, and the customer service was great.

I was told this place was wonderful. I didn't find it to be. Like all restaurants in California now, the food prices were exorbitant with salads and sandwiches running around $15 and dinner plates averaging around $25-$30. These were before tax and tip prices. I will say the service was excellent. I ordered a souvlaki salad. There was a lot of salad with fresh lettuce, but the salad was watery-tasting. I know there was feta grated in it and somewhat in chunks, but it was pretty tasteless. The tzatsiki sauce that served as dressing didn't have much taste either. The souvlaki was overcooked and on the dry side. The rice, which they happily substituted for pita for me (I'm gluten free) was flat-out terrible. Unlike most of the other food that was fairly tasteless, they put something in the rice, but it tasted terrible. I might have eaten four small bites. Additionally, the restaurant environment was cute, but uncomfortable. I have to use forearm crutches or two canes, and there weren't a lot of good choices for me to sit, partly because the tables are so close to each other. Finally, don't go to ANY of the restaurants in this plaza if you are handicapped. There were only two handicapped parking spaces set at one end and around a bend from this restaurant. I had to walk a ways (for a handicapped person). All the rest of the spaces were 30 min parking only. It was that way along all the sides (or lanes?) of this plaza. I'm going to find out if this is even legal. It's certainly not hospitable. I will not go back to Greek Corner Cafe because the food was blah and the prices were outrageous, but I will not go back to this plaza at all because it was unmanageable for me as a handicapped person. To be fair, I've pretty much stopped eating out in California because of the outrageous prices, and these prices were similar to what I've found lately when I ventured into a couple of restaurants due to circumstances. However, high food prices don't mean you can't serve delicious food.

Greek Corner Cafe is hands down the best Middle Eastern cafe in San Diego! Every time I visit, it feels like I’m back home. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic—truly a taste of the Mediterranean. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the customer service is top-notch. The staff is attentive and always checking in to make sure everything is perfect. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend coming here for an unforgettable meal. Quality food and a great experience every time!

I love this place. My go to stop for Greek food. The tzatziki sauce here is my favorite that I’ve ever had. The food here is equally as delicious as the food I ate when I actually went to Greece. Flavorful chicken, great bread, great sauce, great sized portions. Highly recommend.

Greek Corner Cafe is an absolute gem, where every dish tells a love story Greek style. The Gyros Pita, stacked high on warm, fluffy pita with a perfect blend of seasoned lamb and beef, is like a passionate romance between savory and tender. The Souvlaki Sandwich, filled with marinated beef steak, is like that first kiss juicy, tender, and unforgettable. And the Greek Roasted Chicken Plate, available in whole or half portions, is the ultimate Greek love affair, with chicken marinated to perfection and served with a fresh Greek salad, rice pilaf, and warm pita. Each bite is like a serenade to your taste buds, making you fall in love with Greek cuisine all over again. A must-try for anyone looking for a culinary romance!

Nice Greek restaurant. They serve delicious Greek fare, as well as other Mediterranean food. The spanakopita, kebabs, and humus are recommended, but all their dishes are good. Overall, a good Greek restaurant.
