We were craving some Greek food so we came here on the recommendation of a friend. Such a cute spot with pretty murals on the walls and some outdoor seating as well. The staff was so friendly and explained the menu to us and made some recommendations for our order. We tried: Greek Coffee Mythos Beer Appetizer Combo Grilled Halloumi Moussaka Greek Combo Plate w/ Chicken & Souvlaki Zeus Kabob Combo w/ Barg & Kofta Baklava The Appetizer Combo comes with veggies, olives & pita for dipping with hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouleh and tarmasalata (cream cheese w/onion & fish roe). The halloumi is perfectly grilled to delicious perfection. The moussaka is so dreamy and comes with a huge salad and rice as well. The meats here are so good, and come with garlic sauce and tsaziki for dipping. The baklava is the traditional Greek walnut cinnamon and so yummy. They do have some vegetarian and halal options here as well so you're sure to find something for everyone!

The food was good, my beer wasn't very cold and the tizik sauce was room temperature and runny. My gyros was overflowing with meat but could have used a better mix of lettuce onion and tomatoes. But overall, a good Greek meal.

If you are craving Greek food, the menu has a good variety of traditional dishes. It's a busy and popular place and the staff is friendly. The execution on my order was variable and overall I'd say this place is just ok. The positives: excellent gyro, good and generous portion of salad on my platter. They also used Kalamata olives which I love and the pepperoncini was fresh. The disappointments- I swapped out fries for rice and they were just too greasy. I think they were old and refried just before serving. The pita was cut into little wedges but it was too small to make little sandwich portions of my meal. The Avgolemeno soup was a major disappointment. This is my favorite soup and Greek dish and what I use as my "litmus test " for Greek restaurants. This variation was far from traditional. They used carrots and brown rice and it was way too salty. The brown rice is a strong flavor and takes away from the soup. The carrots..... why? Why on earth add carrots?!It changed the color to a very unappetizing look of mud and altered the flavor too much. Please go back to the traditional recipe! The gyros were the best item on my plate- perhaps a sandwich would be better next time. I'll come back as I want to explore other items - I just hope they are made in the traditional way. I come from a Greek family in Chicago and have been to several Greek restaurants to compare. From a service side, I wish they cleared my soup bowl before bringing my entree- it sat on the table the entire time I was there. It does have a charming Greek decor. But overall, this is a decent place if you are craving Greek food but the execution is mixed for me.

This place was so delicious and an absolute gem! I don't understand the poor reviews. The food was fantastic, and reasonably priced. I also enjoyed the service and the cozy atmosphere. For two main wraps, two appetizers, two drinks and desserts it came to about $60 (honestly not bad for a night out these days!) I will definitely be back

Being vegetarian for most of my life, I've tried many different Greek restaurants. Greek Corner Cafe (in Carmel Mountain) is AMAZING. My first time here & I tried the vegetarian combo plate ---> Everything, I mean everything on this plate was DELICIOUS! I can write in detail per item why, but you have to try this place for yourself. The service was awesome. Both servers, he & she, were friendly & had a very kind, gentle demeanor. I like that! The cook also came to see how I was enjoying my food & he too had the same disposition. Such sweet people. The ambience, I can appreciate. I've never been to Greece but they had Greek decor, a Greece mural, & played Greek music.Overall my fav Greek restaurant to-date! And the best Greek restaurant I'd say, in San Diego. A must-try! ... I'll be back.

It was okay. Pita bread was ideal, along with the tzaziki dip. Proteins were also okay, but not as much as we expected. Rice was a let down. Salad was fine, but did not need so much dressing.

I was in the area for an appointment and I decided to stop by for lunch on the way to Scripts in Rancho Bernardo it's only about a mile away from there. Found this place on yelp looks pretty legit so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the souvlaki sandwich it was a steak souvlaki not chicken but it was super good the steak was tender and delicious the pita was put together well. It came with a lot of lettuce on it some tomatoes and cucumbers and onions and tsatziki sauce. It was after lunch hour but the place was pretty busy. They do have a nice outdoor patio which gives the place a little bit more atmosphere. Service was good and professional. Oh I also had a piece of baklava that was delicious. All in all a solid choice for some good Mediterranean food in Rancho Bernardo. Wish I had pictures to share next time I will make sure I grab a few and post them.

Something really good happened since I ate here many years ago. A new owner. A new owner who only buys the top grade of meats (and other foods, just taste it and then ask him.) I'm a fan of the gyro sandwich. In one bite I knew that this was a very different taste and much better quality of food than when I was here years ago. I was curious why it was so good and delicious. I asked the owner if he changed food supplier vendors. The owner told me he bought this restaurant (with his entire life savings) a few days prior to the Covid shut down. It was a heartbreaking story. This man went though the fight of his life as he had a family to support. It's a common small business story, however what is so impressive as a customer is that even when going through a horrendous time - this owner is Committed to only buy the top quality foods to serve. Man does that take guts. And now the owner has to deal with the inflation of food costs. I'm telling you - if we want good food in casual environments we need to support the kind of business owners that hold the line and will not serve lower quality, nor will he serve reduced portions. This owner is a gem and his food is excellent.

Friendly staff and tasty food. But, possibly the most overpriced Greek takeouts I have ever seen. $16 for 4 stuffed grape leaves! $25 for one skewer of Souvlaki. I get inflation and all, but come on when an appetizer costs just as much if not more than entree there is a problem. Went here at 6pm on a Monday night and the place was empty. No wonder. I get inflation, but places charges excessive prices like this one need to be called out.
