So sad we lose Green Flash. Its IPA is solid and price is fair. You will never find a $6 for a 16oz IPA anymore in San Diego.

This place is 100% closed. RIP. Tried going here a few days ago with a friend. Empty lot. Sign on the door telling us to go away. Adios guys. It was good while it lasted!

If you want to be grossed out by the cockroach infestation here check this brewery out. I like the beer but had never been to the brewery before. We went Friday evening it was moderately busy. On the way to the taproom, my wife sees a large cockroach skitter across the floor. Hoping that it was a fluke we order a drink. I go into the bathroom and see several more cockroaches. The place had a bad smell to it too. With so many other great brewery choices around here, do yourself a favor and check out some better options.

Awesome brewery! Stopped in for some tasters. 10 different beers. All were quality and delicious. Now that they bought Alpine brewing I pray they keep the original Alpine recipes in tact as well. Hoppy Birthday is one of my favorite Pale Ales. Great atmosphere and food. Will definitely be back.

This is a great place for craft beer! Green Flash has a couple of year-round beers, and also a lot of rotating beers

I wish Lisa and Mike still owned and ran this place. Still a great place to go, but it just seems a little Off to me.

Solid brewery with good beer and vibes. We came around 4 PM on a Sunday and wasn't crowded at all. Very spacious area with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Looks similar to a business complex due to the glass outside built, but inside is a impressive brewery with several tanks. Beer selection is huge, with 20 different brews on tap. Don't forget to check in for Yelp to get $2 first two beers! Customers can order pint, half pint, and 2 oz taster portions. My favorites were the lemon hazy IPA and pumpkin golden ale, for easy drinking beer highly recommend the lemon shandy. Overall, great brewery with friendly service and not too loud atmosphere. Would love to try the other beers and the food truck food.

Nice layout, cool looking place with outdoor seating and dogs. Looks like they are allowed to joined. Luckily our bartender the little guy realize we are there before the other people that just walked up and asked us what we would like to order instead of the other guy who didn't see us even though we were right at the bar. There was another guy outside homemade cooking the pizza. Looks delicious but I'll have to try it out another time.

One of the OG tasting rooms. Love the $6 full pours. Rotating menu never disappoints!

I've been a fan of green flash from the very beginning. Glad I was able to finally go to the brewery. A lot of tastings that you can't get at retail. Customer service was fantastic as well.

My husband and I bought a Groupon and we got so many beer samplers!!!! We couldn't even finish them between the two of us. And our pint glasses are awesome! Thanks!

A must visit for the craft beer enthusiast even you come to San Diego. Large place with an equally large beer selection. Everything from light lagers to lip puckering IPAs. Nice looking interior and live music on the outside. Good place to buy some cool merch, too.

The Zaccatecas beer is a disappointment on many levels. I was put off by the misspelling of the Mexican state which is spelled Zacatecas. The design on the bottle shows ocean waves and Zacatecas is land locked state. The taste of the beer was bitter and was the biggest disappointment. It's an overall poor product

Great place. The atmosphere what great and the beer was great. No issues from me.

It took me way too long to try out Green Flash but now I can tell you that it's definitely not one you want to miss. It's located in an industrial area so you know that it's a no-frills place with just some really solid brews. Their space is large both inside and outside and staff was super friendly! The guy helping us made us feel so welcome and his genuine excitement about the beer definitely rubbed off on us. The Saturhaze (a Hazy IPA, of course) hit the spot to go with the pepperoni pizza we ordered from their woodfired pizza station. I believe my second was the Tropical DNA, another Hazy IPA which was just as wonderful. They serve Alpine Brewery beers on tap as well because they bought them out in 2016. At the time of this review they're offering a bangin' Yelp check-in deal for $2 each for your first 2 beers. Why wouldn't you stop in?!
