Best price in SD and good food

After a disappointing 3 hour wait at Lab Corp came to this Quest Diagnostic to do my bloodwork. Was upset by this awful start to the day and $12 parking but the day ended in a smile ?. The owners especially the gentleman cashing out and taking orders restored my faith in humanity. A kind man and and great tasting reasonably priced food to boot. If anyone has seen the old Black & White Episode of twilight zone about Willoughby, a fantasy dream town where a train ride takes him when he sleeps… this would be it. This Deli transforms you to simpler times and great service! If I’m ever near by I’m sure to stop by again. The .75 chocolate chip cookies ? were delicious it’s no wonder you guys have been around for 27 years as you told me !!! Thanks for existing! Every town needs a place like this. Any 1 star reviews are obviously people discontent with their own existence as I see it & can just pay the over priced food elsewhere! You guys are amazing! Thanks Jill & Richard

I work in one of these buildings and I have given this place multiple tries and I get disappointed every time. The fruit is old and $4. Not worth it for old not fresh fruit. The soup is terrible very watered down especially the lobster bisque. We used to have a food truck come by but because of their greed and jealousy they out a stop to it. So our only option is old terrible food. Thank you for that. The staff besides the grumpy old lady are very nice. Her husband is welcoming and the two ladies that prepare the food are sweet and nice. The old lady just a terrible attitude and not welcoming at all just wants her money. Would never recommend at all.

Lovely deli in a medical/professional complex with very tasty food and reasonable prices, especially considering the location in La Jolla UTC. I was there twice in a week and tried chicken poblano soup ($5) one day and a turkey provolone ciabatta sandwich with grilled onions and peppers ($9) the other day. Both were delicious and less than my parking! The gentleman owner is very friendly. I highly recommend this little gem!

I stumbled across this cafe while waiting for an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the BLTA sandwich on sourdough. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. The lettuce was crisp, good avocado with crispy pieces of bacon with just the right amount or mayo. I will be going back.

I didn’t get food (just drinks and treats) but the options looked delicious! The service was phenomenal and I will be back.
