Food was just ok. Seabass was cooked well but the wagu tartar was bland. Oysters were a little fishy. And the crème brule was just aweful. It was clearly mass produced from a package and when the waiter saw that we didn’t eat it he simple apologized and charged us for it anyway. No effort to make it right at all. We expected more here. Additionally the prices and description says upscale but the ball caps sneakers and graphic tshirts of the clientele says otherwise Disappointed!!

We had an excellent dining experience, thanks to our server, Joey. It was our first time visiting, and he made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout. Joey was incredibly informative, helpful, and guided us through the menu with ease. His exceptional service truly enhanced our visit. Thank you, Joey!

Tommy was great, food was great. I loved everything here except I really don’t like the 3.75% credit card surcharge on the bill. Great ambiance.

Very, very loud in there. The bathrooms were a mile away through the kitchen and down the stairs. My $79 steak was very tough and extremely overpriced. The service was horrible. The bill came to $986 for four people!!!

Stumbled into greystone for happy hour yesterday.
I’m not one to write many reviews but want to give a cudos to our waitress.
I worked at a restaurant growing up so I know how hard it can be when a restaurant is understaffed. Despite this she had a smile on her face the whole time and was very attentive, everything we ordered came out perfectly.

I ordered the strawberry caprese salad and salmon with mashed potatoes.
The salad was good, though someone had DUMPED capers on it (like, a lot of capers). The salmon was perfectly cooked.
Both dishes arrived without silverware, and, funnily enough, my check came without a pen.
The price of the salad on the check was not accurate with the menu (but not by much). The menu on the street was not accurate with the menu at the table.
They seemed under staffed.

Wow what a lovely restaurant. The food is phenomenal, especially the gnocchi! Also the happy hour menu is unreal. And our server Maya was so nice and made our meal extra special. Will be coming back next week for sure!??

Food was ok, nothing spectacular. The upstairs was so loud our group of 5 could barely hear each other. My steak was not cooked the way I asked and the server never bothered to check.
This was so disappointing. I have been to this restaurant several times before on previous visits to San Diego and have always had a great experience, but the service on this visit was so poor. From the moment we arrived, it looked like our table had been hastily arranged, with missing glasses and cutlery and the staff looked overwhelmed by how busy they were.
This was our worst dining experiences we could remember. Service was poor at best. Ambiance was off putting - lights were far too bright. The place is lit up like a dentist office. The food was absolutely terrible. The Mac & cheese is just boxed Kraft for sure. The steak came out at least 20 degrees over cook. The creamed corn was basically mayo soup and some corn. I'm highly advising that you find a different place to dine.
Was OK, seated next to a loud table, the hostess did offer to move us. Broiled oysters not what we expected, waiter replaced them with calamari. Steak was OK I guess we expected a different milieu
