LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE - called this restaurant six times to request a correction on their billing mistake. Sara the manager, who apparently is the only person who can help with this issue, never bother to call me back. I spoke with 3 persons including Adriana and Michelle and also left a voice mail. I received no response even though I was promised several times that Sara would call me.For a restaurant that charges hefty prices for average food, the least they can deliver is on excellent customer service. Not my experience here.

Great experience. Food was outstanding and service was just as good. Mac and Cheese was maybe the best I've ever had. The Tomahawk was incredible.

Not great, not terrible. Bustling place. Sounded like there was a DJ, and the bar area was full throughout our visit. We got seated downstairs, which is less desirable. Oddly curved banquette seats, and to get to the toilet, you have to walk past a bussing station and the kitchen pass.Food was mediocre. Greystone Salad was underdressed. Steak was OK. Creamed spinach was the highlight.Service was uneven. Initially, warm and professional, although we had to ask for the wine list. Once food orders were taken, that server disappeared. Food runner tried to give our salads to the table next to us, and mixed up our steaks. He also tried to put my steak down without removing my finished salad plate.I expected more for the premium prices this place charges.Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs to both the upper and lower level dining areas, which is where the restrooms are. If there is an elevator, I did not see it.

They try to swipe and clone your cards several times, plus they charge you 18% for the table apart from the tax. A robbery for clients.

I made birthday reservations here for a party of 12 at 6pm on a Saturday night. As the dinner-started, I was so impressed with the attention we were getting from the servers. They were asking us for our drinks and checking in if we were ready to order. But soon I realized the attention we were getting from the severs weren't genuine; they were trying to get us to order our food already. It wasn't even 10mins when we sat down that we were already being asked what food we wanted. Probably because it was going to be a busy Saturday night. However, we were waiting for two more friends to arrive and asked them if they can wait for another 10mins, since they were on their way. 5 mins later the server came back and told us to order already and they can get the order when the other guests arrived. So we did & put our order in. After that, they never checked in on us again. I ordered a Filet Mignon, when I received it, it was cold. All of my other friend's order looked like their steaks were cooked in a rush because the outside of the steaks looked so burnt. The steak was mediocre, but it wasn't the worst nor was it the best steak I've had. Lastly, when I made the birthday dinner reservations it was considered a banquet style. With this type of reservation, it included a birthday dessert. Which I never got. I didn't want to make a big fuss about it, so I didn't say anything about it. When they finally came back to check in on us, they just gave us the check. We were going to order desserts at the restaurant but it felt like they wanted us to leave already. We just paid the bill & left. We decided to just get desserts at Ghiradelli across the restaurant instead. The only reason why I'm giving two stars , because the event coordinator that I was emailing to make the birthday reservation with was so responsive & helpful. Also the hostess was so friendly and welcoming!

Although the vibe was eclectic, the service was absolutely horrible. reso at 7:45pm on a Saturday night, didn't get sat until 8:40pm (after had to remind them that we were still waiting to be sat). The 3 of us Spent time in the lounge and each ordered a drink that took 20 minutes to make. The bartenders were so inattentive. One of the male bartenders was tossing empty wine bottles into a garbage bin behind the bar making the vibe so uncomfortable. At one point a lid rickashayed and hit one of us.; but he laughed it off. Our table became ready an hour later after the initial reso time at which point we were already starving. We decided to pay and leave to go elsewhere as we probably wouldn't have had our food for another hour by the looks of it. (receipt was tossed in front of us) Gahh!!! What a disappointment and to pay $65 for 3 drinks and the audacity for this place to ask for a tip lol This place is so outrageously priced. If you want to give this mediocre restaurant $150++ for a steak and drink with absolute garbage service, this is the place!!

Came during restaurant week. I wasn't expecting the best but I wasn't expecting the worst I've ever had and yet this exceeded my expectations. It was by far the worst steakhouse I've ever been too. It's less than Outback Steakhouse and black Angus and it's comparable to maybe chillis. Everything tasted prepared days prior. The sauces tasted microwaved, and I literally saw a huge tower of partially cooked steaks in the kitchen that were partially cooked and ready for quick distribution. Our server was horrible. Nice, pretty, but we got our appetizers and less than 5 minutes later our steaks showed up. Wonderful. So microwaved food with rough service and a $250 bill. This isn't a San Diego steakhouse, this is more like a Santee Sizzler. Avoid at all costs if you're a local, highly recommend elsewhere if you're a tourist.

My daughter had made a reservation to greystone to celebrate her birthday in February and we went on that day but the menu they had online wasn't the one they had at the actual place, they only had a few things on the menu; my kids ordered their steaks with sides and all and they never brought their sides and I ordered a jidori chicken which was a huge disappointment because it was just a little piece of leg with thigh and it didn't have any meat and then the server said that they had a fire in the kitchen and that's why everything was upside down cause of the service and all. He gave all of us a free dessert but he should have said something right from the beginning so we would have known before ordering. The ambiance was very nice and elegant.

Service by Jeff was excellent. Very informative and attentive. Food was delicious. And one of the best martinis that I've ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant and server Jeff.

Great, great, service! To feel at 'home' is beyond comforting, Greystone delivers that and more. Every menu item is worth its billing.
