Horrible attitude from a rude, snarky, condescending bartender. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Won’t go back.

Went in on a chill weekday night, tried several of their craft cocktails, all were pretty good and they make a pretty decent espresso martini! Friendly and attentive staff.

I recently discovered this amazing spot to watch Vikings games, and I couldn't be happier! As a die-hard fan, finding a place that captures the excitement of game day has been a challenge, but this place feels like a little piece of home right here in San Diego. The atmosphere is electric, especially when the game is on, and everyone is cheering together—it’s such a fun experience!

The food is absolutely top-notch; from delicious appetizers to hearty entrees, everything I’ve tried has been fantastic. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought into their menu, and it really enhances the whole experience. Plus, the service is exceptional—attentive and friendly staff make sure you're well taken care of, whether you need a drink refill or a recommendation from the menu.

If you're a Vikings fan or just looking for a great spot to catch a game, I highly recommend this place! It’s become my go-to destination for football Sundays, and I can't wait to return for the next game. Skol!

Would give it 10 starts if I could. 5 for the food and another 5 for the friendly staff and atmosphere.

Had the Southwestern Cobb Salad and my wife had the Mahi Mahi taco, rice and beans. Believe me when I say EVERYTHING was fantastic.

Terrible service! Asked for a side of onion rings; instead brought a side of waffle fries which were barely warm and charged extra to sub out for a few onion rings. Burger was dry and overcooked...tasted like it was a frozen patty. I had to go the counter to ask for mayo since no one checked on our table. My husband had to go to counter to ask for our bill after waiting almost 15 minutes after table cleared. The food here is not the quality in years past.

Ordered a mixed Bowll. Not only was it missing the beets, but the quinoa was not cooked. Was raw and crunchy quinoa. I could not even eat it. When I mentioned it to the waiter he said he was going to check, but I don't think he ever did

The remodel looks wonderful and the food and drinks remain outstanding. This is my favorite Mission Beach hangout!!

Great food and great service. Blackened salmon with red /white quinoa and grilled asparagus was out of this world. I don't like quinoa but I would eat this recipe every day. Hubby had two blackened salmon tacos ? and was similarly impressed. Our appetizer was Coconut shrimp ? perfectly fried with a spicy ? Sriracha sauce that my husband loved. I'm more of a plain Jane and the shrimp was awesome even without any sauce. Finally, I had a great house margarita that was the perfect accompaniment.

Been coming to Guava Beach for over a decade and LOVE the renovations. The food used to be pretty good, but always considered it bar food... Well, we went for dinner and the mahi mahi plate was one of the most delicious entrees I've had in a while.
I do miss the dartboards, but what they've done with the place is much better! Great job!!

LOVE this place. Perfect for family, date night, beach day, good food and drinks. Servers and Bartenders are very attentive and fun! Check them out! You won't be disappointed, enjoy!

Get the chips and salsa. And the carne asada taco. And while you're at it, get the lobster taco. Wash it all down with a mojito. It's awesome. The fact that it's a Vikings bar is just the icing on the cake.
