Hakamaru is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant outside of Japan. The fish is fresh daily, the specials are amazing, food quality is always great, staff and service are excellent.*Shout-out to Stelle!!* I highly recommend the tempura veggie and shrimp combo, as well as the udon, and any nigiri orders. Do not sleep on this restaurant. 10/10.

A moody Japanese restaurant in the suburbs.
Food was great - the hamachi carpaccio was lovely. Enjoyed the spicy garlic edamame and gyoza. Chicken curry was also good, chicken was quite tender.

They have a wonderful later happy hour (7:30-9pm) from Monday to Thursday. Which is different from most restaurants where IMO it’s absurdly early (3-5).

Look forward to another visit to try other menu items and that earl grey crème brûle...

Incredibly delicious, authentically-prepared with the high quality ingredients...what a wonderful dining experience! Transported us back to Kyoto...esp the takowasa! Totemo Oishī!!!
Some of the mouthwatering dishes we enjoyed_wagyu nigiri, yellowtail belly, Luna lemon roll, grilled hamachi collar 🤤🤤🤤
