Definitely our go to spot for ice cream whenever we are in San Diego. The kids love to indulge in all the unique flavors. Yum yum yum.

Ice cream is always 5 stars. Although I was a little disappointed this location didn't have the more tropical Hawaiian flavors as the other location. Everything I had was really good but the Fat Elvis was hella delicious The loss of star is due to location and parking which seems to be the consensus based on other reviews We parked at the garage down the street which was about 1/4 mile away. The crappy thing is when we came back to the elevator a bunch of teens were hotboxing in the elevator from floors 1-6. Told my kids don't be @ssholes like them I miss the other location and will try and hit this location up only during the daytime

Delicious!! Get the small flight! Indoor and outdoor seating. Cute!! We parked near the CVS. $6.79 for a small flight with three waffle cones.

My girlfriend and I got ice cream here after dinner at 9pm on Tuesday 3/26. She had the pistachio and I had the fat Elvis. The ice cream was delicious but the star of the night was the man who scooped our ice cream! We didn't get his name but he was extremely considerate about my girlfriends gluten allergy, he even double checked to ensure that the flavor she wanted was gluten free. Great service and very personable :) Give this man a raise!

Not from around the area but the lady that helped us was super sweet and I even had her surprise me for the last flavor of my flight if 4 and the brownie flavor did not disappoint, if I ever come back to the area I’ll definitely stop again.
Excellent selection of ice cream. I got the baked cookie skillet, bomb!!!! Staff was super friendly. Highly recommended!!!!

This place is a local favorite in North Park. So many delicious and unique ice cream flavors, my favorite being the Brownie and the %#*! Just got real. They also have the classic vanilla and chocolate. I absolutely love the ice cream glass chandelier they have and the overall retro, old-timely classic with modern twist decor. The two servers were incredibly friendly and attentive. My go-to spot when my sweet tooth needs an ice cream kick!

These guys are good. Service seems to have gone downhill slightly in the last couple years. The flavors are always really unique and fun to try out. Not the most amazing flavor, but a solid 4 star all around experience.

When I found out my favorite ice cream parlor in SD was walking distances from where we were staying, I showed up same day. I love Hammond's, mostly for the ice cream flight (because what a great idea! I'm sure I paid more for less ice cream but man was I excited and still full after) We did go as a party of 6 at 10:30pm on a Saturday night (they close at 11) so I want to give a special shout out to the two employees working that night. They were very nice and attentive. I didn't feel like they were rushing to get us out. The space inside is all themed decor, cozy to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Plus the flavors are unique. I got: Lemon poppy seed London fog Pistachio Peanut butter cookie dough

Super cute ice cream spot! We came here after having dinner and it was the perfect sweet treat. My go to ice cream flavor is anything coffee related. So naturally I got the cappuccino crunch. It was a tasty coffee flavored ice cream mixed with almonds. The staff were super nice and friendly. Easy place to stop in for a great dessert!

I LOVED the option of an ice cream flight! Such a great way to try multiple options in just the right portions. The different flavors you can't really find elsewhere are so refreshing. The atmosphere and decor were definitely very adorable. Very social media friendly.
