I'm from out of town and stopped by around lunchtime. The place was empty. I was looking for a nearby cannabis shop and flubbed Google directions. The person running the place was beyond rude: You should learn how to read numbers, he sneered. I was floored. I like pierogies, I like supporting local businesses and I was hungry. That's where I would have eaten. It's in a quasi-industrial area on a street without much traffic and a few homeless folks around. Maybe you have to know the secret handshake. I ended up at In And Out Burger a couple blocks away.

They are not open when they say.
I was so genuinely excited when I found out there’s a polish place in the neighborhood. I’m an Eastern European and love our food and love supporting our businesses. But… the guy at the register wasn’t happy to see us. We were the only guests at that moment. I asked for recommendations got none and a few “smart” comments were being made. He wasn’t rude, but was very unwelcoming. Sadly, we decided not to eat there as we were made feel uncomfortable so we took our business elsewhere
Loved this place. The food was great, the atmosphere feels like home and don’t forget to buy a t-shirt on the way out as ? goes to cancer fondation.
I came by on my lunch break with my own food one time and was gonna buy something for later but when I sat down the owner started yelling at me and telling me to get out just because brought my own lunch if this is how they treat people I don't even want to know how they treat customers

I wanted Pierogis, but these were not what I expected. They were pretty mushy and I couldn't identify any cheese inside. I've had pierogis abroad and at home and Id likely make them at home next time. For $15 there are several places in San Diego that I would readily spend that kind of money on a lunch. The server was nice enough, but the place reeked, especially in the back room. I think the place could use a deep cleaning. The air outside was refreshing but the seating didn't look inviting to enjoy a meal.

The man who worked at that restaurant, approached me with bad attitude. He wasn’t aware that I’m deaf but I don’t accept the rude behavior.

Not only is the staff amazing but the food is A1 I will admit I’m not used to pierogies, but what I eat, here was beyond my comprehension of good. I don’t care who you are where you’re from you must come try.
