The drinks and vibe were really nice in the game and entrance area.
I wanted to leave a review about the conduct of the Karaoke stage. People were placing song requests, but the DJ was playing songs between each stage performance. This doubled the length of time people needed to wait for their turn to sing. The DJ would also take lengthy breaks between songs, and even sang a song herself, also dragging out the process. As well, there were two guys that I saw rotated in twice before other patrons. Perhaps they paid the $50 skip to the front of the line fee, which, I guess, money talks. It felt as though the whole thing was dragged out to encourage patrons to drop $50 to skip ahead of the line. I waited for an hour and a half, and my and my friend's song request never came up. I just walked out. So yes, I'm biased, but I feel this review justified all the same.
It would have been a much better karaoke experience if people sang their songs, one after another, not split by random songs and music videos. Don't have a "pay to skip the line" deal. Don't have one person sing two songs before another, please place them in a repeatable queue. Karaoke is communal, and meant to be a shared experience for fun by all. Please don't favor one patron over another. If these things would be done, the experience would be so much better, and the customers would have a lot more fun.

My experience at this establishment was incredibly frustrating. To open a tab at the bar the bartender asked to hold onto my ID and my debit card. Unfortunately, I left without closing my tab. Happy Does isn't opened Monday-Thursday so I wasn't able to retrieve any of my items. When they did reopen the following Friday evening they didn't answer any of my calls or bother returning a call. When I showed up the manager (short guy w long hair and glasses) was beyond rude to me. He informed me he shredded my debit card and dropped off my ID in a USPS box. I asked him if it was policy and he said "If I don't like it take my business elsewhere" so I will. I was so excited about this spot but the staff are rude and inconsiderate. Happy Does bar more like Sad Don't bar. I urge customers to take there business elsewhere

Fantastic fun bar... it's both backyard and cocktail. I started with a PBR tall boy and my bar tender Tim suggested the holiday cocktail... I got the naughty or spice and it rocked the socks right off my feet. This place has fantastic service, games and lots of drink options. Perfect before or after a baseball game or just to watch football on a Sunday. Ask for Tim at the back bar... he'll set ya up

This is a cool spot. There are plenty of group seating areas and activities to entertain you. There is a pickle ball court, corn hole, giant Jenga, card games and more! Drinks were reasonably priced and food satisfied my hunger.
I recommend this place for groups.
Parking: It is downtown San Diego, plan accordingly for parking... unless you are paying for a garage or lot, you're likely not going to find street parking.

I had called to make sure I was able to go in before while I am not 21 but am over 18 (stated on the website) saying I was able to enjoy the establishment before 7. When I called they said that only children need to be accompanied by an adult. I am an adult I wasn’t trying to stay past 7. I wanted to play games and have bites. On arrival was told I can’t enter without a guardian. Not sure how someone 20 needs a guardian. If so that should be clearly stated on the website and told to costumers so they don’t waste there time.
Great drinks!

Nice atmosphere, but the Espresso Martini was not freshly mixed and therefore its s too expensive (15$). Also they closed half an hour early as it was stated online and the waitress sold a new cocktail 4 minutes before closing without telling us, so we had to ex it. Really uncool!
