Always super busy in Happy Lemon and there is parking in the back but also quite chaotic. Best thing to do is to park somewhere on the street and walk over. Sometimes the line goes out the door and you have to wait outside. But it all goes fairly quickly. We ordered the Wintermelon Lemonade and Jasmine Green Tea with Salted Cheese. This was the first time I had wintermelon and fell in love with it ever since. I'm not the big salted cheese fan but it’s not bad either.

Parking is difficult. They were very busy, but I didn't wait that long and I ordered 6 drinks. Only negative is that they were out of boba by 1 PM.

Like a lot of other boba places, it was amazing! All the options are great but I recommend the salted cheese series. During night, there may be some long wait times hut it is definitely worth it.Parking: The parking area is very small. Need to be lucky to find spots.

I waited forty minutes for my order when it was only supposed to take ten. When they started calling out the order numbers after mine (mind you it took twenty minutes to get through five orders), I went up and asked if my order was ready. I told the employee my number and she said "oh" and gave me my order. I asked her if my order was just made and she said "it had been sitting out for a while". She didn't offer to remake it and only said "sorry". Now I'm drinking thirty minute old boba with my smoothie being melted. I would've been more forgiving if she said they would remake it pronto but she clearly could care less. I was promised an SMS message when my order was ready but never received it, plus other online orders where being called out and she was even calling out an order prior to line multiple times. Service was extremely slow and it didn't even seem like a staffing issue based on the number of people and pace of the workers. Also their tables are usually dirty.
Great boba spot in SD! Atmosphere is lovely with a lot of space to sit in. Their drinks are super good and their waffles are one of my go-to dessert snacks. Personally, I love the mango matcha and jasmine tea. I've recently started getting back into milk tea and Happy Lemon's is definitely a top 3 milk tea! To add, the employees are ALWAYS so kind and welcoming. Shoutout to bobaristas Jade and Aaron for giving me really great drink recommendations during my last visit to Happy Lemon. They were so helpful and funny- definitely left the store with a smile on my face. Will be coming back soon!

I have never had boba before but for my first experience, it was awesome. I was running around town doing errands with my son and since he was such a great helper, I wanted to reward him and he requested that we come here. I had a mango smoothie and he had some crazy concoction that only a 12 year old boy could appreciate. I wish I knew what it was so I could detail it here but he orders something different every time and always loves it. My smoothie was awesome as well. Lots of mango pieces and chunks and it was super refreshing but not super sweet. Looking forward to coming back there again (with or without my boy but don't tell him!!!)

My first happy lemon stop was in San Jose. I love that it's local now! I have come in a few times and I always get different goodies. The bubble waffle is a solid selection. The service is usually quick and straightforward. The space feels busy. I would hang out but likely not for too long.

We stopped by Happy Lemon after having dinner close by, and some friends recommened this place to us. I ordered a strawberry jasmine tea with salted cheese and a match latte. Both were very good, I had never had salted cheese mixed in a drink, it seemed kind of weird to me, but I ended up liking it. I adjusted the sweetness to 30% and half ice on the recommendation of the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely come back, the inside was clean and well maintained, and it seems like a very relaxed place to hang out.

One of the GOAT chains for bubble tea. They have a large variety of drinks and a decent amount of toppings to add in as well. This particular location in convoy has a spacious interior with a good amount of seating. Service has always been fast and friendly and there's not much more to ask for from a drink location. Drinks also come out fairly quickly so you won't need to wait long for your sinks unless it's extremely busy. Besides their drinks they also have some waffle desserts that are also delicious. I've rarely had trouble finding parking at this spot as well. A spot you must try out if you haven't already. They accidentally made me the Match Mango Smoothie instead of the Mango Smoothie but they were both tasty.
