I came to this bar hoping for a relaxing Sunday, but the experience was uncomfortable and disappointing. The service felt strange — I honestly couldn’t tell if the bartender was being passive-aggressive or trying to be funny.
I started with one drink and tipped $2 even though the wait was a bit long. The drink itself was mostly ice and didn’t have the “eyeballs” shown in the menu photo. When I politely asked if they had run out, the bartender suddenly grabbed an eyeball from a box, dropped it into my drink, and said it was the last one. It was awkward, since I wasn’t asking for one — just curious. I also asked, very nicely, if the drinks were typically served with that much ice, and he seemed annoyed by the question.
Later, I ordered another drink, which again had a lot of ice. To my surprise, the bartender took the eyeball from my finished drink and placed it on my new one, saying, “Don’t forget your eyeball.” I was honestly shocked — that felt unsanitary and unprofessional. I only drank the liquid portion of the second drink and avoided the ice on top where he had placed the reused eyeball. When I left, he repeated the same comment, and I told him, “It’s dirty, I’m not taking it.”
Overall, the service was weird, the drinks weren’t as advertised, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable. I regret tipping at all and definitely won’t be returning. I wish I’d read the reviews first — I’ll be taking my business somewhere that feels cleaner and more respectful.

I've been wanting to try this cute little spot for happy hour and so glad I finally was able to go! The staff were so sweet and friendly. There was no wait, we were seated right away. There's bar seating and booth indoor and outdoor tables available. Parking is usually tricky in this area, but we got lucky with a spot right in front.
Food/drink review: Buffalo sliders: (4/5) They were pretty tasty but the chicken was a little dry and super tiny.
Kale salad/fries: (5/5) Surprisingly, the kale salad was delicious!! The perfect amount of dressing and no bitterness. The fries were super yummy and crispy.
Hot dog: (3.5/5) It wasn't my favorite. The hot dog itself was juicy and flavorful but the toppings weren't my favorite.
Baja blast slushee: (5/5) SO good and refreshing! Perfect drink for a nice hot day. The cups are also fun!
Ward 8: (4/5) This was pretty tasty and more on the sweet side. I'd order it again.
The zlatan: (4/5) This is basically just an old fashion. Definitely a strong sipping beverage!
Cactus cooler: (3/5) It wasn't my favorite and the flavors weren't what I was expecting!
My husband and I were there Saturday 08/16 night and we paid cash for 2 drinks and a burger with taters tab. We decided to open a tab in case we ordered another drink but we ended up just paying for all of it cash. I’m not sure why they added this charge on my card if everything was paid off in cash. Some dude behind the bar with a basketball jersey took our order. I guess he really needed those 9 dollars.🤷🏻♀️ we thought it was a cool spot to go back to but now we won’t be coming back because they write off charges on your card even if you pay everything off in cash.

I live a couple blocks away (7 years), I've never been here. We walked in about 10 minutes early (on accident, i didn't see the time) the bartender (sorry, don't remember his name) was so kind, he told us we could still sit and even said he would make us a cocktail. (Now THAT is customer service) The cocktails were very good and great presentation. Throughout the visit he was kind and checked on us. The vibes were chill and inviting. Can't wait to come back.

This 32 weeks preggie lady was craving Happy Medium! Yes it’s a bar vibe (sooo let me feeeellll somethinggggg) but they have amazing food as well! I was able to get the NA Aperol Spritz, which just felt so perfect on a summer day. One of my favorite cocktails from here (yes before pregnancy) is the “Super Grass.” Missing those flavors: mezcal, lemongrass, mango, pandan. My husband ordered that this time and also “cactus cooler.” He loved both of them. Both have unique flavors! It’s always a fun atmosphere to sit outside and enjoy a drink! The food portions are great size and good to share a few things. We split the kale caesar salad (good even if you don’t like kale), beef sandwich & fries! Love this spot and everyone is always so fun working there!
