I did not eat here, but came to pick up some beer for my husband (ok, and a few for me). They had a great selection and the counter guy helped me choose a variety of yummy local beers.

Cute deli on Harbor Island that has grilled food available on weekends for a few hours. Prices are okay considering it's location, and I highly recommend the Veggie Burger. The cashier was definitely passive aggressive and I think that is what made the experience not as great. Should we really let such experiences dictate our impression? Could we maybe practice some empathy and understand working said position could lead you to be grumpy? For sure! It was just super immature. "Can I please get a Veggie Burger Combo with chips and a drink?" And then when you ask what chips come with the combo, "Ohhhhh, you want a COMBO????" "Ohhhhh, you wanna pay with Cash??? Like girl, I'm just ordering some food... sorry? Lol.

A nice hidden find. We were staying at the Hilton next door, and found this place by just walking around. This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Very well priced too. I ordered the egg bagel sandwich with bacon. The food to order is made fresh, so the wait can be a bit if they are backed up. If you have the time, I suggest you wait as they literally prepare the eggs fresh. My sandwich was delicious. They have fresh hot coffee and a nice selection of sandwich meats. Plus they have Dirty brand potato chips, which you typically only find at the higher end sandwich places. The people behind the counter are very nice and very eager to help and accommodate your special requests. Looking forward to returning here the next time I am down in the area.

Closet place to eat outside our hotel and it was a perfect and quick bite to eat. Beautiful outside even though it rained. It's a small convenience store size shop. Cool wine, beer and alcohol selection (expensive you'll definitely pay for the convenience). We ordered a a Turkey, bacon and avocado on a sub roll with lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard and peperoncini . Also ordered a patty melt, with an extra patty and added bacon, peperoncini and oil and vinegar (would probably hold on the oil and vinegar next time, they were a little heavy handed) but the sandwich was great (sorry no pics of the food). The music inside the store was good, the cashier, sandwich maker and guy putting away the wine were all cool with great personalities. I even found Chico stick candy there . Nice spot, will definitely come again for a quick good bite to eat.

I found this place tucked back in the corner and I must say I totally dig it. It's not a big store but I like it. I got one of their sandwiches and it was EXCELLENT. Not to mention the woman that made my sandwich was not only professional and easy on the eyes but she can hold a great conversation at the same time. I would buy here again in the future.

Great family owned deli, great place to grab a sandwich and beer and enjoy the great view. Prices vary reasonable.

Horrible service! Took over an hour for 4 sandwiches. Rude. Didn't wash his hands after handling money. Condescending. Basically real life scrooge with no happy ending. Man with mustache should be fired.

I gave two stars because when they are open and actually serving food, it's pretty good. Their sandwiches are a good value and made with good quality ingredients. The big problem is that you can not count on them making sandwiches when you show up to order. What is the use of advertising hours as a deli if you don't sell sandwiches? The male employee is ridiculously rude. I called this am to order a breakfast sandwich for pickup and he told me they weren't taking phone orders. So, I walked over to the deli to order. When I got there, he said he wasn't making sandwiches right now, it was about 9:30am and they advertise to be open at 7am I believe. I asked if he knew when they would start making sandwiches, he said that when the people who make sandwiches show up, they will make sandwiches. I am not sure why he couldn't make sandwiches.....he seemed capable. It's super frustrating when you plan on grabbing sandwiches or breakfast burritos before a fishing trip and they aren't serving sandwiches. I have gone at noon and even one o clock and heard the same story numerous times. It's always from the older overweight employee with a mustache. The other female employees are nice and friendly and go the extra mile to remember your name. The owner is also very nice and attentive. This place could probably be pretty successful if this bad apple was fired. We specifically order from other places before we get down to our boat because we aren't sure if they will be serving food....it's a roll of the dice.

If you see the heavyset guy with the gray mustache then run far away. I went in to get ice for my hydro flask and he treated me like I was trying to steal ice. I'm a boater and a tenant at HBW, so the idea of being a petty ice thief is laughable for any rational person assessing the situation. I later went to grab a dock cart to bring stuff down to the boat and fat Colonel Sanders watched me like a hawk with spite in his eyes.

Having just checked into the Hilton next door, I was rushing to get a quick bite before a business call. The front desk suggested this deli and it worked out perfectly. As I often do, I asked the owner to recommend the best and biggest sandwich they make. He said the Turkey-Bacon-Avocado is the most popular. I added cheddar cheese for 50 cents extra, which was mildly annoying, and chose the sub roll. The very friendly woman behind the counter started making the sandwich right away. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty, but I'm going to deduct a star for the portions of everything other than the bread and lettuce, which were plentiful. The turkey, bacon, and cheese were lacking in quantity a bit, but I still enjoyed the sandwich overall. If I'm in the area again, I would certainly grab a sandwich here.
