The food was amazing—super fresh and delicious sushi and sashimi! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. It was my partner's birthday, and they surprised us with a cute little birthday ice cream, which was such a sweet gesture. Definitely coming back to try the Omakase course next time!
Great food and excellent service. Been there several times and keep coming back because the food is great
I had lunch with a friend, but we did not do the set lunch menu. The fish is melt-in-your-mouth, and the sushi well composed. It was a 1 pm lunch at the sushi bar with only 4 other people. It's a good time to try a new place when it's not busy.
Sushi chef Hiro was a delight to talk with as he prepared the most delicious sushi. We enjoyed everything. Fresh fish, prepared perfectly.
Beautiful venue with incredible service. The food totally lived up to the hype. Totally recommend.
This is a sneaky-good sushi spot! It doesn't look like a formal sushi bar but the quality is up there with the best! I don't know why they serve rolls with avocado and stuff because it's the quality of the nigiri that is amazing. They sushi guys are wonderful and fun , and the sake selection is well-thought out and excellent. I love that the bar is U-shaped, allowing for twice as many seats at the bar.
Great for a date night! Everything we had was fresh and delicious but on the pricier side. Our favorites were the miso soup, truffle hamachi, zuke chu-toro and kama toro nigiri. Absolutely recommend!
Don’t have words to explain how amazing is this place!!!

Growing up in Tokyo, I know a good tuna tastes like. For decades have not tasted high grade tuna, Toro, until my son brought me here.
OMG, the Toro, Bluefin tuna, sample dish was superbly put together with care. Then we sampled other sushi, all good spoiling our sushi purchase from a grocery store.

Our favorite sushi spot and it’s now a tradition for my closest friends and I to come here for our birthdays and to celebrate any special occasion. Amazing sushi, wonderful service, and head chef Mikey-san is always so entertaining while teaching us about each type of fish and sushi

Wow, this place is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve been living in San Diego for four years and Southern California for my whole life, and I’ve been searching for the best sushi restaurant in CA. I thought it would be nearly impossible after recently going on a trip to Japan, but my husband found this place and we decided to give it a chance.
I’m so glad we did because the sushi was absolutely wonderful and the service was superb. We ordered a plethora of things starting with the dry sake, calamari, wagyu risotto, then moving onto the nigiris (albacore, yellowtail belly, orange toro, and yuzu pepper chu-toro), the Victor roll, and the spicy tuna scallop roll. Each bite was so juicy and honestly the best we ever had, that I’m writing my review as we left the restaurant just two minutes ago.
Highly recommend for people craving authentic sushi and nigiri. The interior was also impeccably designed and I couldn’t be happier with my dinner experience here. We finished with the matcha and chocolate panna cotta, and it was truly the best way to round out our experience.

Highly recommend this sushi spot for its fresh, high-quality fish, creative rolls, and welcoming vibe. The atmosphere was vibrant yet warm and inviting. Our server Gina was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. Despite being busy on a Friday night, we were seated easily at the bar. Can’t wait to come back soon!

Wow!! We ended up here on a random whim and just from google reviews of sushi in the area. We ended up doing Omakase upon request and every single dish/piece was excellent. The things we normally don’t like (seared, uni) were prepared so perfectly that we’ve changed our mind! Highly recommend, if you want omakase just put it as a request if you make a reservation in advance. It was ~$150/pp pre tax. We will be back. Thank you!

Everything tasted good. I just feel like there was too much soy sauce in all of the dishes.

I came across this neighborhood gem by a friends recommendation. Living in San Diego and being a lover of Japanese food, I can't believe I hadn't discovered this great restaurant. For sure, one of the best hi end Japanese restaurants in San Diego. Highly recommended !
