Im only in town for 4 days and was hungry I decided on Harbey Sushi. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and given a table. The waiter was super nice and attentive every time I was done with something he came and grabbed my empty plate. The food was amazing. I ordered off the Happy Hour menu and everything was perfect. I got the margarita and lychee martini to drink. I got two orders of half a dozen oysters on the shell and the yellow sauce was perfectly spicy and mixing it with the orange sauce gave it the vinegar kick perfect pairing. Then I got the nigiri sampler and the roll sampler and both were amazing. I wasnt as big of a fan of the all veggie roll but everything complemented every one of the dishes.

Hostess *ISABELL* was extraordinarily rude. She refused to answer questions, interrupted our party & acted as if we werent good enough for her presence. So tired of these snooty girls that think theyre better than the world that PAYS THEM!! DO BETTER

I'm not a Sushi expert or anything. Nonetheless, Harney Sushi's flavor, presentation, and staff left me speechless. Hands down the best sushi that I've tried in San Diego!
Give yourself a chance to meet this delectable experience.

The food was great. I thought the portion was more than a healthy portion.
The server was very nice and earned every bit of tip that we gave her.
The atmosphere was unfortunately a tad too loud.

Totally unexpected to find such a great sushi place in Old Town San Diego. Very good quality fish, top notch presentation, friendly staff. It’s not a “cheap” place, but well worth the money! Will eat there again!

Below average based on my experience. Food was simple, rolls are plain, chicken in the ramen was burned, they brought horseradish (green paste not wasabi) only after I asked, my table didn’t have napkin. Waiter was slow.

Visited in a Saturday later afternoon/early evening. We were able to walk right in and be seated immediately. We had calamari and a few sushi rolls. All was so fresh and tasty. Service was friendly.

Food is good, service is good. The only real complaints involve the sushi roll ingredient variety and price. Truth be told, Sushi Deli #1 does all of this better. More variety, better quality and for less. Sushi Ota is the other option if you want a bump in quality with a matching price.

Very large, delicious portions. Sushi rolls are fresh, the “monkey brains” are a great appetizer, the miso ramen is magnificent.

I had an exceptional experience at this sushi restaurant -- the freshness of every dish was unreal, the flavors were rich and clean, the presentation was elegant without trying too hard, and the service was genuinely impressive with a team that stays attentive, warm, and professional from the moment you walk in until you leave, making the whole visit feel effortless and absolutely worth repeating.
