Beware of portion sizes. They’re huge and delicious. The manager is friendly and helpful. We got shirts that were the wrong size and he said he’d mail us new ones

The food is huge, and good. The waitstaff are great. The atmosphere, well, it’s San Diego so that’s a given.
Parking: Very limited street parking, but free on Sundays. But there is also a little paid lot right across from the restaurant.

An eclectic mix of breakfast and brunch options using farm fresh ingredients. The entrées are a bit pricey, but the portions are huge, so it's enough to share. Their Sage Fried Chicken and Bacon Waffles are out of this world as far as the flavors and quality. I'll be trying their giant French Toast next time.

I come here often this week. I was disappointed ?. My food came so late. I just packed it up. My guest had already finished her plate. And it wasn't even busy like usual. The waiter was busy talking and not tracking my table. He got the tip he deserved a big "0". Do Better Hash House.
Parking: I'm just disappointed that this location had terrible service.

It was very hard NOT to rate this place a 5. I really would with all aspects considered, but the drink that I ordered was a sugary mocha with caramel, and I didn't get it until after I was full from my food. For some this may be a big issue but I was okay with the water and DELICIOUS Chicken and waffles that I had. My goodness, these portions would feed a family for weeks. The mocha I had would hospitalize a Victorian child with his tasty they all were. I have no doubts that I plan on coming back, because I had brunch today and I still have leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Good place, and don't mind how they get busy, it's bound to happen but the waitress was very nice and apologetic abt the drink. I'd come back for sure

Portions here are ungodly. We ordered the classic breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, a biscuit with butter and jam, fruit, and home style potatoes & the steak and eggs plate! My eggs were cheesy and slightly runny, which I loved. The biscuit was crispy on the edges and soft on the inside, and tasted so yummy with their butter and jam!
If you want to get what you pay for in taste and portion size, this place is a must in San Diego. The chicken waffle tower was delicious, the fried chicken is unique with a sage type seasoning and bacon cooked in the waffle. The banana pancake was phenomenal. Real large pieces of banana are in it and it's a gigantic size with flavor to match. We also did flights of the Bloody Marys and Mimosas, both were great, id recommend the pickle bloody Mary. Overall a terrific breakfast experience

The food was good, I'm from Indiana, so it was super nostalgic for me. If you don't know why I would say that, then please do your research about the owner. But the service was wayyyy subpar... over all bad experience, but the food was good.

I wanted to really like the food, but the chicken was not great on the classic fried sage Benedict. The chicken was supposed to be a breast, but definitely noticed plenty of dark meat :( It was also overportioned to the point I didn't even see the bread or the egg.
I enjoyed my Mocha the most and the eggs were cooked perfectly, which raises a star. The service was decent, the place was booming and popular with locals, but I am not sure If I have the thoughts to return at this time.
