This place doesn’t seem like it needs more hype, but we experienced amazing food and great service. We were in San Diego on a long layover and decided to uber over to Little Italy for a nice meal. I now want to book more trips through SAN just to eat. Bone marrow and oysters, duck toast, the half chicken entree, and potato side were all phenomenal and super-flavorful.
Food here is always on point. We went on a Saturday, so the food did take a while to come out. But the flavors of the food is amazing. Definitely a great place to meet up with friends or date night. It is a little in the loud side, so its hard to make conversation. We ordered the Gem salad, corn and broccoli sides, grilled pork, and grilled chicken...all delicious
Our server was amazing, super knowledge and friendly.
1 star for atmosphere - super dark, couldn’t see the food on the table and had to be those annoying people with a flashlight :(.
This took away from the experience overall, esp for the price of the menu.
