The drink flavors were all so very unique!

Per staff, the only difference between mango blue and mango boom is the blue coloring. That’s it. They taste exactly the same. The blue color is from food coloring not superfood spirulina powder or anything fancy.

HEYTEA Del Mar in San Diego is an absolute gem! The ambiance is modern and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing drink. Their signature cheese teas are a unique treat that blend sweet and savory in a way I’ve never experienced before. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering recommendations based on your taste preferences. Every sip is a burst of flavor, and I can’t wait to return for more!

I recently visited this boba tea shop, and it quickly became one of my new favorites! The drinks are perfectly balanced — not too sweet, with chewy and fresh tapioca pearls every time. The menu has a great variety, from classic milk teas to refreshing fruit blends, and everything tastes high quality.
The shop gives a modern vibe. The staff are friendly and quick with orders, making the whole experience even better.

This boba tea spot is an absolute gem! The flavors are rich and authentic, and you can tell they use quality ingredients in every drink. The pearls are soft and perfectly cooked — never hard or soggy. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, making it a great place to relax with friends. The store smells soo good! I love the white tea scent. The app is always useful to order ahead and is very nicely designed.

Drinks are delicious and the tea is pretty premium, BUT my only gripe for this location is that they are super stingy on the amount of boba given. Why am I paying one whole dollar for such a small amount? I’ve been to Heytea in Singapore, NYC, Boston, and Irvine, and Singapore and NYC are by far the most generous with their boba, which is how it should be.

Staff is very friendly though. I love that they are still open after dinner, compared to other places in SD. Highly recommend their different grape and matcha drinks! Their seasonal cloud magnolia latte was great!

On Friday, Oct. 24th, I had the Coconut Mango Boom Fruit Tea! It was refreshing and it hit the spot on a warm fall day. Love the mix of coconut and mango! Can’t wait to try Hey Tea again!

The service is so so slow, i waited a long time for my drink and staff seemed in distress, this place needs employees with a big smiles, it just seemed very off and upsetting overall as i didn't even enjoy my drink

App and service are both disappointing! I waited for 1 hour after ordering online (time listed was 30 minutes) for three drinks. They also ran out of boba and did not inform me until I went up to the counter to check my order.

The tea here is fairly good but not $10 good. I've been to premium tea places but the cost is definitely not justified at this place.

We recently visited Heytea and had an amazing experience! My husband and I ordered the Supreme Matcha and Coconut Mango Cloud, and both drinks exceeded our expectations. The quality of the tea was excellent, and the flavors were spot on. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I usually don’t go out of my way to write reviews, but my experience here really ruined my day. The drink itself was amazing—honestly one of the best boba teas I’ve had—but the service was really disappointing.
It took about 25–30 minutes for my drink to be ready, and when I finally got it, it was the wrong order. That part I can understand—the staff looked super busy and overwhelmed, so mistakes happen. The real issue was the attitude I received when I politely pointed out that it wasn’t what I ordered. Instead of helping, the worker argued that it was what I ordered because it was printed on the receipt. To be fair, I hadn’t double-checked the receipt, but it seems the person who took my order was more focused on chatting with a buddy (who coincidentally got his drink right away) than actually listening to my order.
They did end up exchanging the drink, which I appreciate, but being dismissed and made to feel like it was my fault was really frustrating.

Great experience. Friendly and attentive staff. I went with the grapefruit offer and was pleased with the choice.

Ordered the brown sugar supreme, the flavor was very underwhelming. Maybe their other drinks are better.

I stood in the line for 23 mins and then when I went to see where my drink was it was at the back of the line. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it and I must wait another 20. I waited in the line for 43 min for a drink.
