Well over priced for what it is
I live here in San Diego, I have tried multiple poki spots, and I have never finished eating feeling like I have to throw up. By the taste of the sea food you can tell it wasn’t fresh. I don’t recommend eating here. I spoke to the manager and asked for a refund and he was dismissing the whole purpose of the situation and denied a refund because for him “food is freshly made here” but he wasn’t the one who ate it.

The food was fine, it took a while, and the service overall was not really bad.
Would recommend it if you are in a hurry and need a quick bite.

Build your own poke bowl was 23$ after tax, and the ahi wasn’t even fresh as it was starting to turn darker and brown. Fix the price and how you store raw ahi.

Luis was very friendly and a gracious host. My wife and I went in and ordered poke and were greeted with overwhelming hospitality. He gave us a sample of his gelato as well and was very cool. Love this place and would come back.

Service was great. I stopped by because I was craving something fresh and a poke bowl came mind, the owner introduced himself and had me try some fried rice he made and it was delicious. If I wasn’t training for a 1/2 marathon I would’ve gladly had some with my poke bowl, but maybe next time. Overall great experience and delicious food too!! ?

Such a friendly and kind owner—he made my day with his kindness!! He prepared 12 meals for my coworkers and myself so efficiently, making all of them so well while working by himself. The poke is delicious and he experiments with new tasty recipes and flavors all the time! Highly recommend for a filling and healthy lunch.

I ordered the BYO Poke Bowl & Miso soup. I thoughly enjoyed the BYO as I usually do. This was my first time getting the Miso Soup & I wasn't impressed, it was way too salty. I ordered online for pick-up & it was ready on time.

Had a quick bite to eat here while on a business trip. The service was fast, and the food was excellent. Had the eel bowl and some oolong tea. Definitely recommend this place if you need something quick, tasty, that won't make you feel like you're being weighed down for the rest of your day.

Excellent Poke restaurant. A small shop in East Village. Friendly staff and a great selection. The only downside is at $16.50 per bowl it is a bit pricey.
A really good experience, instead of eating the usual hamburger we decided to eat a poke, really very good, the guy was very friendly.
The price is very low, around 30 dollars for both pokes, one tuna and one salmon.
Recommended place to save euros! ?
