We have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now, and our experience has been great every single time. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent; everyone is very friendly, and the food comes out quickly when they are not busy, the restaurant is clean, It is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego.

I had lunch at Himalayan Grill (9842 Hibert St, San Diego, California 92131) and ordered the chicken curry and chicken tikka masala. Instead of rice, I chose naan, and it was a great choice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was clean and flavorful, and the service was excellent. I was very satisfied with my meal and would happily come back again.

Great Indian food and fast service! The Tandoori and Lunch Special were tasty, and the Mango Lassi was top-tier. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. Not a big fan of the welcome soup, but everything else was excellent. Highly recommend!

Got a Lamb Tikka Masala and a Chicken Curry dinner entrees. The taste was good, but they seemed to be watered down and thin. Even the lentil soup was very thin. This is way different from the rich, very thick versions from the Himalayan Curry & Grill on Friars Road.

One of my favorite places to go for buttered chicken or tikka masala. And that himalyan special naan of theirs is quite wonderful to dip in curry. Eating there has its perks as well, first time having lentil soup and it was delicious and it was included for free.
