Such a cute new coffee place. All there desserts look so cool, and just the overall vibe is so unique and special . However the baristas seem subpar no personality. Rather annoyed the placed attracts so many girls for the IG. Coffee is good , I would come back to this coffee shop.

Had a coffee and a study here. Very nice atmosphere, great for studying, very clean with calm people inside. Is more like someone's clean house than a cafe.
Will come again thanks for the service. ?

Rare to find a dessert that looks beautiful and also tastes good. HINAR does it. Ordered a lot of different items and all were phenomenal.

I live right next to HINAR and I've been at least a dozen times. It's a welcome entry into the San Diego late-night coffee shop scene (something that's sorely lacking here). You walk in and are welcome by a minimalist yet rustic and cozy space that's perfect for sending out a few emails, reading a book, or just catching up with a friend. The desserts here are phenomenal. Yes -- they're pricey; but good luck trying to find something like it nearby. I personally enjoy the biscoff cake and cheesecake.
In my opinion, the coffee leaves something to be desired. It doesn't stand out like the desserts do. The espresso is average and while it isn't bad, it's nothing I'd order again.
Service is top-notch. You'll always see the same friendly faces behind the counter.
All in all, HINAR is a great addition to the East Village scene and I hope it's here to stay.

Had a decent amount of dessert options. I didn’t see the prices for things but I was just looking at the dessert case and didn’t look at the menu since I didn’t want coffee so they might have had the prices available but not sure.
We got the white chocolate raspberry cake and the tiramisu. Both were $12. The cake was not worth the price. It’s basically a cupcake... for $12… and the cake was just ok.
The tiramisu was amazing and nice and big. A good shareable size. We could have just gotten the tiramisu and been happy.
The cheesecake options also looked really good and seemed to be good portions but we didn’t get the chance to try them.

From the aesthetic to the drinks, Hinar is a vibe. Reza is the man.
Very good desserts and drinks. The place is quiet and pleasant. The prices seem a bit high to me.

Really esthetically beautiful place. The pastries and coffee are good, not the best, but also not bad. It's a cool place to bring a book or computer and enjoy some coffee. Overall 8.5/10

We had one strawberry cream cake and a piece of basque cheesecake. All of the cakes looked good in their glass showcase, and I kind of liked their basque cheesecake, but maybe I expected too much... nothing was special to me... also, it took a bit longer to get our order. After waiting over 30min sitting at the table, we thought that something went wrong and had to check on our orders to the cashier as taking the pieces of cakes out of the showcase, placing them on a plate, and serving them would not take that long.
Lastly, we really didn't like their coffee... BUT they did a great job with their interior design- good for SNS!

Great, unique vibe. Everything is made of clay, and looks incredible, prices are very reasonable (my large cold brew was $5) and the employees are lovely. Great stop.
