Disclaimer: this was my first time in a karaoke room (ever) and I do not speak Korean. The entrance is super swanky. Very modern and cool. You walk in to a huge bar with a couple of golf simulators at the end, great for groups. There's a pool table and a couple couches as well. We were taken back right at the time of our reservation. We were escorted to a room for the 6 of us, and it was tight but ok. We were handed a huge book that was filled with mostly Korean karaoke options with a small section for American pop, along with a remote that was also primarily in Korean. You'd have to look up the song in the physical book and then enter the number on the remote, which took awhile, or alternatively, you could try to type in the artist and see if they had any of the songs by the artist available. Our waitress prefaced that there were no songs from the last 5-6 year available, and even then, the song selection available (American pop) was questionable at best. More than half the songs we wanted weren't available. The machine broke halfway through our session and the manager had to come in and fix it, too. The chairs were wobbly and the floors were sticky. My husband and I were both allergic to something in the room (assuming someone recently was in there that had a cat), but the rooms were not ventilated at all which didn't help the cause. All that being said, the room plus 2 drinks a person was less than $30 per person, so pretty affordable. TLDR; I don't know what I was expecting, but I probably wouldn't come back here for Karaoke. Maybe for the golf sim.

Terrible customer service and management. We came here with a large party to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday with karaoke, and the bouncer guy bent my girlfriend's license so hard it cracked. That was a bad start to the night, and he was entirely unapologetic saying it was totally fine. Thinking that was both unacceptable and incompetent, we spoke with the manager after, and he was also highly dismissive and unapologetic. We received a free drink but I would've preferred a heartfelt apology. I have no clue why the manager was so unapologetic and abrasive at my complaint. We were enjoying ourselves singing karaoke when 30 minutes before our scheduled end time, our microphones just stopped working. We called for assistance and no one showed up for about ten minutes even though the place was empty. At that point, the server informed us we could get a slightly prorated rate by leaving early and we decided to call it for the night. The manager checked us out and gave us half off our last hour -- that might have been acceptable if he actually apologized. I told him our microphones stopped working and rather than apologize, he said something along the lines of: "Yeah, I know. That's why I gave you a discount." Did not hear any type of sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment that caused. The icing on the cake was when I asked if gratuity was included in the bill and the manager said no. Gratuity was included. Luckily, my girlfriend caught it before I tipped extra. The manager needs to learn how to apologize, and the ownership at this place needs to seriously review its customer service policies. It's highly upsetting that a night of enjoyment started and ended with negative experiences caused by Hive's lack of customer service. Frankly, none of the hiccups would have been so bad if they handled customer complaints with a little bit of grace. Also, just a general word of caution for out of towners, this place doesn't know what out-of-state licenses look like. I was almost turned away with an out-of-state license but was lucky enough to be carrying a second form of ID.

Went there with a couple friends and we had a good time. The karaoke offers a lot of song options but there was many songs we looked for and didn't find unfortunately.

Would definitely recommend making a reservation if you're looking to come in on a Saturday!! Tried a few weeks ago however we were on a waitlist & never got in after waiting for almost 2 hours. Tried again yesterday afternoon totally last minute thinking it wouldn't be too busy earlier in the day, but it definitely still was. THANKFULLY, they were able to get us in pretty quick despite there already being a line and HUGE shoutout to the worker. Seem'd like they were probably understaffed and poor girl seemed to be doing everything by herself, BUT was the sweetest and took our order right away. Kept coming by to check on us too. Kareoke was a blast but definitely recommend making a reservation!

I came here for karaoke however, you can order food and drinks to the karaoke room. I love that the song selections are very modern however, I wish the karaoke system gave you a score because that's my favorite thing about karaoke lol

I booked a room for a large party ahead of time. The staff didn't seem ready to start their day. It was difficult to place orders for drinks/food. Our hostess seemed overwhelmed and was doing too many things at once. She didn't give us a straight answer when we had questions about the karaoke room or ordering food. We were told our time would be extended as there was technical difficulties with the karaoke machine and service delay. This was not true. Another hostess came in and just kicked everyone out. Bathrooms were a mess. There was definitely a leak somewhere near the bathrooms and they just covered it up with a rug. It didn't seem clean at all. Most of the surfaces were sticky.o

Drinks were sorta watered down. We got a karaoke room and the staff were dismissive and borderline rude. They seemed annoyed that at a karaoke bar there were people drinking and singing. The rooms themselves don't have any new songs. The mic systems were terrible and kept screeching. We were informed the staff they said that just happens.

Great restaurant with bar! Chicken wings were moist and the breading was nice and crispy. Took off 2 stars because parking lot is small and parking is challenging if you plan to vitality this location after 6:30pm. Even worse they they're having an event.

My wife and I moved down here from Los Angeles where they have karaoke places everywhere. And we found this place that had excellent food. Excellent excellent excellent food and different prices on different size rooms of karaoke. For the white people they have a very nice system of iPads. But if you want something with Korean and japanese songs as well as American songs, they have a big giant book that was not difficult to use. We had the time of our life. And the woman that helped us was just awesome! However, I did notice a little bit exuberance in her accepting of a gratuity that was in cash. It gave me the impression she doesn't always receive her tips on credit card. It's just a feeling I got. Nothing that she said. but she was awesome and I wanted to make sure that that was taken care of so tip your waitress and make it cash!

I went to HIVE on a Friday night and this was my first time there. There was a large group of us. First off, we weren't greeted by any one and we even walked through the bar and the many hallways trying to find our karaoke room. It was confusing and not easy without guidance. Once we found our room we had a great time. One of the waiters was really cool and nice. The other one was very rude and even tried ending our session 1 hour early. After we straightened that out he came back an hour later and basically said get out because I need the room. We spent a lot of money on drinks and food so all of us were kind of turned off by that approach. Overall it's fun but the service could be much better. The bartender (the only female we saw working Friday night) was very kind, helpful and provided a nice experience. I would come back but never again if my second visit goes the same way. I do hope to update my review with 5 stars at that time. Stay tuned...
So much fun! Our server was by herself on Sunday night and it was so busy. She was such a sweetheart. Love coming here!

Not sure how this place gets 4 stars, but the karaoke is really bad. Old hardware that don’t work, bad videos and the rooms old and dirty as well. Honestly you are better off singing at home with YouTube.
