Not the old Hob Nob Hill. Arrived at 10AM on a Saturday…just wanted to sit at the counter. restaurant was NOT full and I counted at least 5 service staff nobody said hello…nobody came to seat me. Made eye contact with at least three of them. Not worth the effort.
We had a large group go to Hob Nob Hill on Sunday for brunch and we had a great time. The food was cozy and delicious with portions on the larger side and delicious cocktails. They were able to seat our reservation right on time and the service was friendly and timely. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was simple and tasty, my friend had the monte cristo which he raved about and looked amazing.
I've eaten there several times now for breakfast and at brunch time. The food has been delicious. Zero complaints. The staff are all extremely pleasant and eager to greet you with a smile. Pastries... Let me tell you. The pastries. In a word, yum! Or is that a sound? Anyway! Parking can be a bit of a challenge during certain times of the day and since the area is very hilly I would suggest Uber there, if possible. Our server was Carlos.
