If you’re in the Poway area and need a bite to turn your frown upside down look no further. You’ll be seated fast indoor or outdoor and waited on without delay. Food is delicious and staff is friendly. Highly recommend chicken fried steak, the gravy should be the envy of every diner in Southern California.

Had a hearty breakfast and meaningful fellowship with Bro. Gilbert at Hoorah Breakfast & Bar. Great food, relaxing ambience, and PJ gave excellent service—even though they ran out of croissants a bit late in the game! Still, a solid spot to start the day right. 🙌☕🍳

We’ve needed an independently owned and operated breakfast spot in this area for a long time. Does not disappoint. Great menu and we loved everything we ordered. Appreciated the mimosa and Bloody Mary offerings for a true brunch experience. Ample parking and seating including outdoor dog-friendly patio. Woof!

Hoorah has great breakfast and an array of coffee to choose from. The shaded
outdoor seating is perfect for a long conversation with a friend. There’s no need to rush. The staff lets you sit and visit as long as you want.

Thee BEST food we've EVER TASTED. Huevos Ranchero out ranked anything out there in San Diego also the Mexican Omelet was perfect and we topped it off with Mimosas!! We will make a day trip again cuz the 70 miles are worth it!!!

Very generous portion. Love their avocado toast the scrambled egg was cooked perfectly and it's freshly cooked too. My friends veg omelette was also cooked right, with lots of spinach inside. Around $21 per person, We will go back!

After waiting close to a solid 10 minutes for our server, which generally I am ok with when the restaurant is busy, we then waited another 25 minutes for someone to signal from the kitchen "our food is coming" - which then took another at least 11 minutes to actually get to our table. Two dishes. 37 minutes.
It took until minute 32 for someone to actually approach us and apologize. Said the manager would give us a "big discount".
Which was then only 20% off.
Absolutely absurd. I work in hospitality. A major failure on literally every single level.
To top it off, the food order was also not 100% correct as ordered and my wifes biscuits and gravy were lukewarm.
Ridiculous experience and will never come back.

Excellent food! Two had breakfast -- amazing portions of pancakes with fresh fruit!! Third had lunch -- burger was right on target -- a bit of a different twist with pineapple!!! Loved it (plus leftovers...)

Lovely local brunch spot with a fresh breakfast menu. Nothing felt greasy and portions are more than fair for the price. The staff is also very sweet.
My recent addiction is their Ube Latte - sub with coconut milk. Perfect for someone who wants a cozy drink but isn't a coffee lover.

Food first - they have an extensive menu and everything I've tried has been well prepared using fresh ingredients, nicely flavor-balanced, served at the proper temperature, and quite tasty. Service - they operate on the margin in terms of wait-staff. That said, all staff are well trained to provide good customer service with a positive attitude. They pay attention and work hard to ensure a good experience. Atmosphere - regardless of whether you sit inside or outside, ambient noise is more than I prefer. Outside, the food and customer service, AND the fact that they welcome my pups on the patio override my noise objections. Inside, they might add more sound buffering (not via floor coverins) with things such as plants and wall hanging that they rotate to ensure cleanliness. This is a fun and friendly place to have reliably tasty breakfast and lunch meals!

Great food, service and atmosphere!
I often go there with a group of friends after hiking, we ask to sit on the tables served by Monica because she gives exceptional service.

Food was good...
Atmosphere was a little loud and chaotic -- didn't seem like a well ran (the kitchen seemed well ran, but the hostess/seating left much to be desired... there'd be empty tables that were clean, but they weren't seating people at them.... it felt like they were trying to create artificial waits to make the place seem busier... and yes they had plenty of wait staff). I was surprised to see wait staff chatting with people or standing around while the poor busboy was always behind and few of the wait staff helped him.
Regardless... once we were seated they took our order quickly, food was timely, etc
If they can dial in getting tables bussed by using wait staff help and better tracking of the clean tables or tables that are being cleaned, then they could really get through more people on the weekend.
Note: this is the type of place where you get your own coffee and tea at a coffee/tea station.
