Two small pizzas ordered (pepperoni and cheese) - guy working annoyed with us said “45 min wait” - isn’t this a fast WALK IN pizza place to go to beach? I’m confused the disdain of actually working in this state?! I grew up here - just not the same as it used to be … pretty disappointing

My husband, two daughters, and I were craving pizza after a fun morning at the beach. We ordered a cheese pizza and a house salad. We were blown away by how delicious this classic pizza is. The crust was great and we loved the oregano seasoning in the pizza sauce. We'll happily return next time we make it out to la Jolla shores.

Great pizza at an affordable price right by the beach! This place has been open since 1988 and has been ran by the same guy since the beginning. If you love thin sliced pizza, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Called in for One XL pizza this afternoon, since there is always a long wait, he said it would take 45 minutes. I said OK, gave him my order and my name then showed up 48 minutes later. I walk in and ask for my pizza--the old guy said he just gave it away to someone else. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It's takes him almost an HOUR to make a pizza then he gives it to the WRONG person. He said it would take another 45 minutes if I wanted to order again. No Chance. I only go there sometimes because it is close by. It's average pizza but not worth the wait at all, there's a better pizza place down the street. It's really not worth counting on picking up any longer either I guess. The old guy is totally clueless and now careless. Do NOT waste your time. Just Inexcusable all around.
