Everything was great. The server was very friendly and made the meal that much more enjoyable. Will go back!
The food is delicious served in large portions that are worth the price. The fajitas are terrific as were the spinach quesadillas. The margaritas are better than most local restaurants with a perfect blend and not overly sweet. The atmosphere is perfect with ambient lighting. Oscar our server was friendly and accommodating.
They charged me twice for the tip. I called the restaurant to fix it but they said the manager would call me back. No one ever called me back.
TERRIBLE experience. The wait was 40 PLUS minutes just for our food. During that time we were not ONCE updated on our food nor were our drinks refilled UNTIL we finally got our food. We were completely ignored while we waited our food. Not to mention, when we finally received our food we had to return the “birria ramen” due to absolutely NO FLAVOR. Leaving one member in our group without breakfast. On top of this we were automatically charged a 20% gratitude, which is acceptable at OTHER RESTAURANTS, NOT when you are offered poor service and low food quality. Safe to say we are NEVER COMING BACK and I suggest you take this review seriously before giving them your business.

Perfect Mexican Restaurant in the Hillcrest and Banker's Hill neighborhoods. My first choice!
By far the Best chilaquilas and piñata coladas.
Everything is tasty, fresh. Loads of seating inside and covered patio outside. If dont see what you are looking for, just ask. If they can muster it they will for you too.
Highly recommend.
We will be back soon.

Such a colorful attractive place, when I saw the $3 taco and $5 margarita sign , I was hooked. The place was so enticing and our server very polite and helpful. I have to come back here for breakfast or dinner, must try !

We were greeted by the owner who made sure we had a good experience as I mentioned I was there with guests from Germany and being (and living) in Mexico, I wanted them to experience real Mexican food. The restaurant did not disappoint! We enjoyed not only the meal but the nice ambiance and very subtle music. We were able to talk while eating very good food!
Family operated restaurant
True Authentic Mexican Cuisine!!! My wife and I came here twice on our Honeymoon to San Diego. Once for dinner where we had the lobster burrito and enchiladas. The second time was for brunch with bottomless mimosas/Sangria. The Sangria was on point with the orange zest. For Brunch we had the birria tacos and JT Sandwich. It was all excellent!! Omar was such a great host and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. We will come back every visit!
Great servers. No wait time. And amazing food will definitely come back.

Lovely attentive owner and staff
Such a fun place. $14 all you can drink mimosas. Service was crazy attentive. The food was really fresh and flavorful.
This was my daughter’s college hangout and I totally understand why. Came here with a large group and Arian, the owner’s son, was super gracious and accommodating.
What a wonderful place. The food was authentic & absolutely delicious. The owner was so sweet and made us feel welcomed as out of town guest.
I had an incredible Cinco de Mayo at Huapangos! I came with a friend to celebrate, and we enjoyed some delicious drinks and food. Hands down, the best Mexican food in San Diego!
This is where you want to brunch in the San Diego area.
