Decided to stop and get barbecue on a whim. Plenty of parking. A couple of nice tables under pop-ups out front. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, I enjoyed the tri-tip sandwich with some barbecue on the side. Everything was priced very reasonably, fresh and served within a few minutes. If I'm ever rolling by again I'll definitely stop again.

My buddy and I stopped to check out the place, wise decision. The staff was super friendly, the portions were hefty, and the tri tip was super juicy. The smoked beans had the right amount of taste to complement the meats. The only downside, They do cater, and if they are tending to a party, you will miss your chance.
It smelled great nearby, thought it was coming from this place. But the sad story is that it’s CLOSED. Was looking for the business hours or phone number, and it was nowhere to be found. Total disappointment.

This is, hands down, the best in town for bbq. The service is great too.
My sausage link sándwich was good but the brisket Mac & cheese was absolutely horrible . There was literally only two good bites of meat, the rest was fat with no flavor you couldn't chew. I never had something so gross in my life. I took home and it tried to mix it with something else but it was usless. I think San Diego is just cursed not to have good BBQ.

My first time eating here and I got the sample bbq plate and it was delicious. The Tri-tip was juicy and tender. The ribs and pulled pork have good flavor. The Mac n cheese is yummy. I got the chipotle raspberry sauce and it’s super good. I will be back to try the other things on the menu.
