The fries are so delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of them but the bulgogi fries, Hawaiian chicken chipotle, and the poke fries are to die for! The fries are nice and crispy and hold up really well through the sauce, which they don’t skimp out on! Build your own boba is so easy and they have a great amount of teas, slushes, and toppings. The staff is hands down the best part! They’re always super friendly and helpful! Can’t rave enough about this place!

Me and my girls finally took the opportunity to stop by and try their boba and fries! They are so good we ordered the Hawaiian chicken chipotle fries and I was surprised of how delicious they are. The taro boba was one of best ones I’ve tried the second flavor was the triple berries slushy you can serve and add any toppings of your choice really fun for the little ones. Glad this place is close to home to visit more often

Interesting concept but food is mediocre. Tons of fries and barely any meat. Sauce was good so as the fries but it’s just too much of it versus the meat. The meat is sprinkled on top while everything else is just a fries.

Love this place! One of my favorite boba spots. The Boba is self-serve, just make sure not to sample/sip so they will seal your drinks (sanitation). My favorites are the penguin, brown sugar, and Mango. I usually get the split cup so I don't have to choose just one flavor. Lol definitely recommend this boba spot.

So, this DIY boba spot has been here for months without me knowing it existed! It's buried in the small strip mall across the Vons and Woodstock Pizza.You have a few sizes and a cavalcade of tea and slushie options. I opted for the mini with boba plus almond pudding topped off with the taro slushie - the slush was liquid, but after a few tries, I got it to slush itself up - if that's what it's supposed to do. lolDef coming back for more!

Up the street from the college. They serve mostly meats over fried. Great self service boba drink flavors, wonderful boba. Staff is very nice. Everytime we've gone, usually in the afternoon 2-3, there's usually no one there.

The owner is a bit odd. He chooses who to speak to and can be very cold to some customers and overly friendly to others. It’s on the expensive side too and there’s nothing that anyone can suggest that he will consider-discount card, loyalty punch card, or drink of the day. It’s all about his profit and when 8:00pm arrives, he’s gone!!!! Don’t know how you can work til the very last moment without any cleaning up and such but it’s the way it’s done. I’ve sworn many times over that I won’t return but his boba is my favorite thing ever so I just keep it to a minimum because he has a lot of improvements to make on his customer service skills.still

A friend was visiting from Sacramento, and she saw this place on Yelp: a DIY boba shop. She was very intrigued by the concept and wanted to check it out as it was close to the SDSU campus.The location that my friend and I went to is located next to a Chase Bank and Subway in the College Center on College Ave. There's not much "food" options in that center compared to the blocks across. There is a parking lot with ample stalls.I've been to DIY boba shops and so far, I've never had one bad experience. I was originally skeptical at first as DIY usually means the quality wouldn't be as good. Boy, I'm glad my skeptism was shut down again! I got the split cup (originally wanted the regular then I realized the cup size was too big for my cup holder LOL. The worker was nice enough to give me the split cup, kudos to him!) and added in Wintermelon Milk Tea (no oolong saaad) on one side and Penguin Milk Tea on the other side. I left the sugar level to how it was without adding extra sugar. The drinks were gooood. They weren't overbearingly sweet and had a good amount of tea to them both. Delicious!My friend and I also ordered a half sized Sisig Fries. And omg. This was SO SO SO delicious! The fries were crispy and the sauces added on top of them and the sisig was absolutely delicious! Along with that, super generous portions! I couldn't believe how big the half sized order of fries were (peep at pic). My friend and I were going to eat ramen after this short trip too LOL. It was actually debated if we should have gotten another half sized order and skipped the ramen (but we didn't LOL). Definitely definitely will be back if I'm ever in the area again. Both the boba and fries were really good. Especially the fries! There's a big variety of fries too, and I can't imagine how delicious the others all taste too.
