I used to love this place, but they raised their prices so high that it's actually laughable. The food is now at stadium costs for school cafeteria-quality food. Ridiculous, regardless of the reason. $28 for 12 Swedish meatballs plate and a 4 chicken tender and mac and cheese kids meal. What the hell?

First time ever going to IKEA or the restaurant, the food was great! It's not extraordinary or super fancy but it feeds and is definitely an experience. When we went there were also a few other families ordering and sitting in the common dining area.
The method is simple, you move from one end of the cafeteria to the other with a tray, grab what you want out of their displays (except the meatballs, those plates are created on the spot). Their soup is also self serve.
The 12 meatball option is fairly cost effective! It ends up being a little under a dollar each but it comes with a side of mashed potatoes and peas. The lingonberry jam is also really tasty! My only prior experience was the Pewdiepie Gfuel flavor and that doesn't hold a candle to the real thing. I also liked the little Swedish flags on the dishes!

IKEA has always been a favorite for their Swedish meatballs, and the unbeatable deals on meals. However, my recent visits have taken a turn for the worse due to the rude staff, which has been increasingly disappointing. It's clear they’re understaffed, which may explain the irritation on their faces and in their attitudes, but that’s no excuse for the poor attitude. I've dealt with employees who act like helping customers is a burden to them. Frustrating doesn’t even begin to cover it!
Lately, the rudeness I’ve encountered has deterred me from returning. One employee in particular, an African American lady named Pam, has been the worst of them all. It’s disheartening to feel unwelcome while trying to enjoy a shopping experience. On the other hand, there is another African American woman Im not sure of her name but she is an absolute delight. Friendly, informed, and a smile on her face with every interaction I’ve had with her. I’m sure Ikea Restaurant Fenton Employees know who this is because nobody else even comes close to her amazing service.
I love the meatballs, but it’s not worth dealing with the customer service that needs major improvement. If things don’t change, I won’t hesitate to take my business elsewhere.

I highly recommend doing the Wednesday deals- buy 1 adult entree and get 2 kids meals for free for members. Additionally, the breakfast on Saturdays is amazing and 50% off for members. Also I recommend the plant balls, not the veggie balls- veggie lovers.
Vegetarian options: Plant balls are better than the veggie balls.
I only go here for the breakfast and I get the eggs, potatoes and bacon. It's your average cafeteria type food and taste so don't have your expectations high. However for the price, this is great. Try it if you're there shopping or if you're in the area.
