I love this place!!I was looking for a place to chill and eat after a long day of work until I stumbled into Ike’s sandwiches located in Sorrento valley!The staff were helpful and kind. I got the Matt Cain with double meat with banana peppers. It was delicious and left me satisfied. This is now my go to place after work.

Pretty good sandwiches, but don’t ask the staff questions. They may mislead you. Do your own research lol.Here’s my experience:I wanted a BLTA so I asked for that at the register. The lady running the register did not know what that was, so she asked for someone in the kitchen to help me instead. So I told the cook guy that I want a BLTA and he told me I should get the Terrell Davis. Long story short, I didn’t check the whole list of ingredients and I ended up getting a sandwich that was mainly Turkey. Pretty bummed, the staff should be there to help lol. I didn’t think I have to fact check them…. The Sando was pretty good but a blta would have been better.

Ike's is scrumptious. It's downright delicious. I've never had a more delectable and unique sandwich in my life. I just don't know how they do it. The dirty sauce is where it's at, I always ask for extra. The drinks are great too. This particular Ike's is special because this one guy Christian - he's got such a genuine and positive attitude and the most welcoming smile. Thank you Christian!

The Matt Cain is an amazing sandwich! Go and get one, you won't regret it. The "godfather sauce" is great and I really need a bottle of that so I can put it on everything I eat.

Fantastic sandwiches. As a vegan is so hard to find protein filled and yummy sandwiches. They have SOOOO many options and all are absolutely FANTASTICI'm obsessed for sure! They even have gluten free options!Vegetarian options: Loads of vegetarian options, vegan options including vegan cheese/meat/sauce/mayo. Good sandwich but mostly bread not much meat both times I went, not worth the 12 to 15 dollar sandwiches I got. They make the sandwich look big with all the bread they give you. Seems a lot of places are raising prices and downsizing portions.

Ordered a sandwich box 2 days ahead of time, and waited a full hour past the scheduled pick up time for it to be ready. Asked for the cheese and dirty sauce on the side since I had one lactose intolerant eater, and every sandwich in the box has cheese melted onto it. The sandwiches were also swimming in sauce, if you like that sort of thing. It was crazy inside with a 45 minute wait for walk ups, meaning it might have been faster if I hadn't ordered my box in advance?TL;DR Don't try coming here for lunch on a weekday unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

Went for the first time, got the one with fried chicken (#99 or 98 I recall), was delicious. The sandwich itself is a little shorter than a foot, but is incredibly thick and packed to make up for it. Price is in the mid range, be sure to pick up some chips as well! They carry a unique brand (Zapp's) I've never seen anywhere else, and they are delicious!Vegetarian options: Separate sandwich menu that has specialty vegetarian options, some can be made vegan
