Crunch bread is delicious, such solid options, easily customizable

If I could give this 5 stars I would. My husband who's is not vegan could not even tell the difference.

Parking: Sometimes it's hard to find parking inside the parking lot. But on the street it's the same.

Got to go orders and everything was hot and delicious. Only 4 stars because the meat to bread ratio was like 1 to 4. More meats man!!

All I can say is wow. We bought sandwiches for a lunch meeting and everyone was pleasantly surprised. I got a Madison Bumgardener and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. It was so filling I could only eat half of it.

I discovered Ike's sandwiches when in Poway. I looked for the closest shop in San Diego and found the one on University Ave.
The sandwiches are amazing. Really good. Do not miss the Dutch bread, it's unlike anything I've tried before and it's yummy!
The sandwiches all have fancy names, so the first few visits you may want to allow extra time to search the menu. But once you land on a couple of favorites, it's a quick in and out to get your food.
They are SO good!

They have a lot of different types of sandwiches which is pretty neat. I got the Murph which was very good but towards the end started being too strong, I think the flavor just became a lot at the bottom of the sandwiches where all the juices were concentrated. Overall great sandwich, but might try something else next time. Updated from previous review on 2024-07-15
