Food was wonderful, fish was fresh and of great quality. Don't sleep on this place. It was packed on a Wednesday night and hour before closing.

It's small inside but the food is very good. It can take a little while for them to make the rolls, but it's worth it.

Excellent lunch sushi combo. Real wasabi and fresh fish are a rare find at these prices.

If you can't get a reservation to your favorite sushi place, this is an alternative. Food is okay with moderate pricing. It's a small restaurant so you may need to wait in line for a while.Parking: Free parking at the lot for liberty station

I went to the restaurant because of good reviews. My experience was very disappointed. 5 small sashimi pieces cost $22?? and 6 piece salmon rolls cost $9?? The taste is not as good as I expected too. I thought $4 a piece sashimi must be a big size but was just a tiny piece. It's not worth the price. I am sure u can find more priced reasonable japanese restaurant anywhere in San Diego. 2 adults and 2 kids spent $80 but still hungry. This tells u how small the portion is.

The parking was not so good at Liberty Station. However, once we go parked it was a really good walk to the restaurant. There are lots of good stores around and some have good window shopping options. The food was really good and came out super fast. I got the Philadelphia roll because I like the cream cheese and the salmon mixed together. I usually get this at each sushi place so I can compare them. This was incredibly good by comparison, so it's really easy to say that the rest of my food was great too.My daughter got miso soup and a side of rice and it came out very fast. I appreciated them bringing it to her first since her little tummy was hurting. After eating we walked around Liberty Station and looked at some stores. We did a little shopping, got some ice cream, and played in the grass courtyard. There were several practicing musicians so we didn't have to go far to hear some new live music. All in all it was a great restaurant and I will be coming back next time I'm in the are.

Visiting family in SD. We like this place and the food is great. My daughter called a $111 order in and then sent me in to pick it up. It felt “light” considering what she’d ordered so I asked “is this all of it?”. The waitress quickly said “yes”. I repeated, “are you sure this is all?”. She again blew me off.My daughter was outside at the fountain with my 14mo grandson. I told her it didn’t seem like all she’d ordered. She went in, literally half the order was still sitting in the kitchen all packaged up.Her house is a good 15-20 minutes drive away.Making mistakes is 100% ok when you’re busy. But ignoring a customer’s question (especially when he is correct in his concern) is NOT ok.So: takeout customers beware.I had even left a decent tip when I signed the credit card screen (18-19%!!!). I wish I could undo the tip.

This place's sushi is one of the best I have had in San Diego. However the place is super small so it's not good for big group of people. Really just a quick grab and go type of place in my opinion. Friends wanting to take their time to enjoy a meal should not come here as you'd feel rush and bad to occupy the seat for too long. Service is decent. Definitely 100% recommend if you just want some good food.
