I was craving some good old Chinese-American food and found this place randomly. Went for the General Tso lunch special, which came with soup, rice, and a potsticker. A great version of the dish, it was still hot and crispy even though I had ordered it to go. The hot and sour soup was excellent as well, with a good amount of tang. I also ordered the chicken wings based on what I had read on here, and they were also great. The standard "salt and pepper" style that you find in many Chinese joints around San Diego, this version is as good as any of the "famous" places like Golden Chopsticks or Imperial Mandarin. The prices were great too. The lunch special was just over $11 for a very generous portion of food. Definitely will be back!

I tried this place and the food was good and real Chinese. They also have egg food young and other delectable dishes. I really like this place as opposed to fast food places like Panda.

On Sunday 3/3/2024 I ordered some beef, rice and house chow mein, the beef tasted decent and so did the rice. The issue I had was with the chow mein. It tasted very bland and had a weird taste to it. Later in the day I was not feeling well at all, I've experienced food poisoning before so I could immediately tell what was wrong. I believe I had got sick from the chow mein. I'm still in bed feeling awful and if you don't want to feel like this, I would NOT go to Iron Wok. The quality is nowhere near passable for people to eat.

We love this place. We order take out. The servings are VERY generous. We always get the Chicken and Veggies and the veggies are plentiful. Our order is always ready on time, about 20 minutes. I've never eaten in the restaurant.

My friends and I dined at this restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon because we saw a couple of customers inside and decided to give it a try. I first thought the interior design could have been better, but never judge a book by its cover. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken, which was fried chicken that was seasoned with garlic, green onions, and pepper. It was delicious because of its crispy texture and garlic flavor. My friend ordered the fish in black bean sauce, which she enjoyed because of its umami taste. Overall, the food was flavorful, and considering its low price, the portions were huge! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for some fast, affordable American-Chinese cuisine.

We ordered delivery, so no comments for the restaurant itself. But if the food is a reflection of the service and, it is very positive. We ordered chicken fried rice, orange chicken, and cream cheese rangoon. The portions were great and enough to share. The flavors were great and it all looked very fresh. Look forward for the next time were out this way and check the restaurant for its ambience.

Delicious! They really know how to cook! All their ingredients are fresh, they prepare everything just right, and the service is super nice. There is really no reason to go anywhere else, since they make everything really well, which is unusual. Believe me, I know the difference between average Chinese food and excellent food, and this is excellent every time! Thank You

Hmmm... a tad disappointed in my meal today. I haven't eaten here in several months & I ordered vegetable egg foo young to go as in the past. I had to take a picture while eating because to describe it as the texture of a cornbread is about right. 1st time like this. I could have picked it up with my hands to eat it. Either they changed their recipe or new cook? It was definitely eatable... just not what I was expecting.
