Amazing spot for fresh seafood, a great atmosphere, and creative original cocktails!Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a memorable meal.
The food was absolutely delicious!! And the server was amazing too , the only complaint I have is the seating , why are they so small
Great experience yet again. Their food is always phenomenal. We must've shown up during a shift change since our food took about 30 minutes to come out, including appetizers. Will definitely be back again but likely for a later reservation.
Our server, Kyle was great! The restaurant design was unique and fun. I loved their take on a Dark & Stormy cocktail. Their kids menu was short, but worked for us. The dinner service was great and we all enjoyed our food. The favorites on the table were the hydroponic salad, clam chowder, and lobster roll. We had a party of 7, so 20% gratuity and their standard 4% surcharge were both added to our bill.
Great experience and service! Was a bit loud for conversation but the service was warm and friendly and the food came out quickly.
Fantastic experience for our 2nd anniversary. Lovely restaurant, fantastic food and such a great experience. We WILL be back.
The oysters were decent. Although tasty, the fish was mushy (fish and chips). The chips were not hot enough. The wait staff were pleasant if stand-offish. We visit this restaurant every year for my wife's birthday (8 years running). This may be the last time. We both think the quality has gone down while prices have gone up.
One of my favorite places to eat at when I'm in San Diego. It's consistently great food and amazing service.
We ordered the chowder it was cold. Then they gave us another bowl. It was cold. The lobster roll is fantastic. Our intial server could care less about getting the order right. The incoming server was gracious and tried to rectify the situation.
Went for HH oysters. They were fantastic, but service was slow. If you’re going to eat more than one order, just order them all at once.

Nearly empty restaurant and the hostess tells us there is a 15 minute wait. Happy hour on a Tuesday, we wanted to grab some oysters and a drink before the game. Oh well!

Love the food here but when trying to book a dinner reservation for 12 for my birthday they required me to book through their manager and I would’ve had to do a prix fixe menu. Very bizarre for really not that big of a party. And I never even heard back after leaving my email and phone number. So don’t recommend for any sort of celebration or party of more than 10.

I have brought many ppl to Ironside for oysters for a couple of years. Usually I bring visiting friends or a date because I want to show off one of my favorite restaurants. On my last visit I wandered in alone because I had the Worst Day Ever at work so I came in to try to forget what happened to me. I'm was not planning on eating out but I'm happy to report the oysters were delicious, my champagne cocktail was perfect and most of all the service was above and beyond. Go for the food and drinks and if you're lucky Edward at the bar will take care of you. Not everyone can be so talented, so knowledgeable and so friendly. He's a gem.
