Our experience could not have been better. Great food - everything we ate was delicious. Oysters were incredible. Atmosphere was fun and playful but with an upscale vibe. And the service was exceptional. Alex was super friendly, gave excellent recommendations, and did everything you want a great server to do. He really helped make our 10-year anniversary extra special.
Celebrated a family members' birthday dinner -- shout-out to Marc for bringing a dessert with mini-Roman candle for awesome effect! Thank you also to staff for the personalised (birthday boy's name) menu!
The well-known/fave Ironside dishes -- i.e., Ironside bread ; Crudo ; Lobster Roll -- really are Outstanding -- fresh and flavourful.
Our only notable exception should also serve as a warning: In the evenings/busy times, it seems that staff are not able to manage the incoming/outgoing diner traffic to match the accepted reservation times. For example, we waited 25 mins passed our reserved time (and for once, we arrived early!) for a table to be made available.

I don’t give out 5 stars lightly, so please take this as the highest compliment I can offer. We have been here many times in the past because the food has always been top tier quality, however the hospitality seemed to be hit or miss.. until tonight. From the time I made the reservation to the time we left, every detail was so thoughtful. I made a reservation for my fiancé‘s birthday and was contacted one day later to confirm there were no allergies in our party and to see how they could make the night more special for us. (Love that) When we arrived, we were shown to our table immediately- and shortly after ordering oysters we noticed the menus were custom printed with my fiancé‘s name on them. (Photos included) our waitress Geena was genuinely so happy to help us. She was attentive and kind and so wonderful to work with. When we finished dinner, dessert was brought to our table including an espresso martini with my love’s name PRINTED on it. I was blown away! From start to finish this was an incredible experience. It was refreshing to see the hospitality match the quality of the food. Wether you are celebrating something or simply a seafood fanatic, do yourself a favor and make the reservation. You won’t regret it!

Ironside made our anniversary so special! Cannot recommend enough. Incredible food and great service. Can't wait to return.
Really good. Lots of attention to fine details, good service, fine locally sources seafood. We shared everything and it was plenty.
The Mussels Verde were spectacular, and we sipped the pozole Verde as another course with our bread. The chewy hominey in the rich broth was amazing. The salad (buttery rich burrata and crisp sweet pears) and Crudo were good and not overwhelmingly huge. Just enough. The bread was the child of milk bread and the best dinner rolls you've ever had.

The food here was fresh and delicious. We had a great time there. The vibe was fun and relaxed. We are looking forward to going again.
Really cool seafood restaurant houses in an old iron works shop. We had a bunch of oysters and drinks. Top notch service! They even have their own line of hot sauces.

Came here for dinner and left full! Cool vibe, just super dim inside. Like so dim you have to use your phone to read the menu. Other than that, the server was really nice and helpful. We got oysters, the main fish, lobster roll - everything was good. The one dish that stood out to me was the Japanese sweet potato. Omg it was soooo good, would go back just to eat that. Dinner is busy so def make a reservation. Also don’t love the bathroom hand washing situation lol if you know you know.

11/10! Really impressed my out of town guests and me feel special on my birthday. Looking forward to coming back.
Really fun sitting at the pastry counter and watching the chefs do their thing! Carlos was so inviting, explaining how the dry mix for the biscuits was made. Incredible happy hour with $1 ea. Oysters and $5 ceviche tostada. Great drinks and very attentive service!
