Great service, good burger. French fries over done but overall the food was good, tacos very hard serving for chili cheddar fries very large. Salad was fresh. Ice tea fresh, big wave burger was good.

Loved this Islands restaurant. We arrived ed 30 minutes before closing and staff was amazing. We had just arrived back in Ssn Diego after 10 days in Hawaii!! Serendipity thank you to our awesome server. We were there on 3/21.

I sit here writing this as I'm waiting for my check to come. I get it that the job is hard sometimes, but it's almost dead on a Saturday at lunch and the waiter has an attitude. I just asked for water which took three tries. The food is just okay, so you'd think service would be at least tolerable. Also, the coleslaw looked like it died yesterday. Now we remember why we don't go to islands.

Happy hour specials and the food was great. I had the Kalua pork sliders as suggested by Travis and really enjoyed them. Great service and great food, if we were local, we'd come back!

Not a great night at Islands. Sadly the action videos were better than the food and service. Which was slow, that is why I had so much time to watch the videos. Should of have several refills and finally when offered they never came.

Amazing burgers. Kileua is the best. They can substitute any burger to make it vegetarian and it's still good. Add a lava flow drink to make it a celebration. Menu is little pricey but worthy of special occasions!

My daughter and I ate here today ( La Jolla, CA location) minutes after they opened for the day. The wait staff was super nice and very energetic. Seemed to enjoy their work. The food was fresh and tasty. I had the chicken beach bowl and it was full of crisp broccoli and snow peas, pineapple chunks, chicken and brown rice. My daughter had a taco plate which included 2 tacos and black beans. YUMMY! The restaurant was clean, shiny and well taken care of. Plenty of parking available. Will be back!
