I always enjoy the atmosphere, food, and drinks at Islands. Food and drinks are good, but prices are high for what it is. The fact that the chicken tenders don't come with fries when they charge $14.25 is pretty crazy when they are basic tenders.

The staff is always very friendly, however they tend to not provide the best service. They do the bare minimum, take our drink order, food order, deliver drinks, food and that's about it. They don't check...

Ate lunch there today, and it was an excellent experience. Good food, good service, and good atmosphere.

My only complaint was that there was no Big Kahuna Burger on the menu. ;)

It is what it is. We’ve known this chain for years when it used to be on La Jolla Drive and we were sad when they moved locations and closed the one in La Jolla Drive.

We go there usually for fine burgers and sandwiches. The food was delicious, from the french fries, to the onion rings, to the shorebird or chicken mushroom sandwich, to the Malibu burger, to the Maui burger and the nachos were ok.
