Islands Restaurant Mission Valley

We stopped here for lunch on our way home from the beach. The place was pretty empty but still wasn't greated for about 10 minutes after entering. The food was okay, not great, but there was nothing to really complain about. The server wasn't around very much. Probably won't go back.

I just love their Yaki chicken tacos, or the Shorebird on Wheat bun chicken sandwich, their fries mmm soo good. Service always 5 🌟, and service 5 🌟

Friendly staff. Good burgers. Lots of locals frequent this place during the day and all seem to know the staff.

You know what you get with Islands. Consistent. Just no more bottomless fries, which was a disappointment. Also fries were a bit dry but food was still good. Server was great and food came out pretty quick although they were busy and we had a big party.

First time eating at this restaurant. Service was a little slow and they didn't seem to be overly busy in general. The food was good and fresh. The atmosphere was as expected, beach themed.

This is the first time at this location. And it's been a while since our last visit. Our meals were so tasty I already decided to come back next week.

Just ate here today after a few years. Fries over cooked and burgers were just okay.. unfortunately, not impressed. Recommend Habitat or any other burger place.

My food was wrong and I keep calling for assistance with a manager and by some miracle there never in the building, staff was rude and didn't pay attention to what I ask for.....very sad and disrespectful

I love this place always fast service amazing food and great taste, for me Hawaii burguer is the best!! but they also have blue cheese burger and some gluten free options as well I always ordered the Hawaiian burger with teriyaki sauce on the side definitely coming back

The service I had during my visit was the most notable experience! Our waitress was phenomenal, and did a fantastic job.

I ordered the Northshore tacos and they were unbelievably subpar, it appears that tacos are very obviously not their staple here. Perhaps I should have ordered a burger. The chicken on my food was dry and flavorless, the only part of my meal that had flavor was the sauce and the tortilla. Beyond that it was unbelievably underwhelming.

However the restaurant is very relaxing and provides a great spot to have conversation and spend time with your party, but keep your expectations low when it comes to food
