Vibe is great, food tastes good too. Their pasta is decent and reasonably priced. Their lamb dish was okay. Would just go for their pizza and pasta. Their pizza is top notch in my opinion
Highly recommend the pizzas, salmon dish and the chicken dish! Service was great! Will definitely go back!
Always consistently good. Cute and cozy on the inside, small patio on the outside. Great local spot that I eat at often.
Having visited their Little Italy (the original ) location on numerous occasions, we had the opportunity to visit their Little outpost in La Jolla as it was closer to our hotel. Everything from the downtown location has been transported north, the food was excellent, wine choices great and there was a very friendly and local ‘vibe' happening with many families and regulars obviously enjoying their dinners. Carpaccio was second to none, and all our food was delicious. One thing to note is there is only a beer and wine license at this location, so if you need cocktails with your fabulous wood-fired pizza then stay with downtown.
We specifically request a booth table. I made reservation far in advance. But we were seated at a regular table in the middle of the room (quite a high traffic table), while there were empty half-booths all around us (the restaurant was quite empty at 5:45pm). I did not enjoy that experience so we ended up leaving.
Worst experience ever. Went there around 4pm, was 1/4 full. Stood about 3 mins, no one cared about us. A man in blue shirt noticed us and told us anywhere you like. Then we seated. No one ever came either. I’m not sure if they are racist or something else, because I saw the customers after us were leaded to their seat. Still the man in blue shirt came and gave us the menu. We randomly grabbed someone to place the order. All of them said they are not our server. Even after everything was finished, we didn’t know who’s our server.
Caught dinner before a show on our anniversary. Cute corner booth to enjoy a nice, relaxed meal next to the open kitchen. Service was outstanding. I had the beef carpaccio, which was a standout for me as my main entree; lots of lemon in the arugula, which I loved, but was too much for my husband. He enjoyed his pizza well enough but wasn't blown away. We shared the calamari, which was excellent, and salumi misti which was a nice portion.
Isola Pizza Bar is an absolute gem. Amazing food, freshly prepared, with incomparable service.

Our waitress was friendly and the bus boy was very attentive. We have pizza which was very good.
We drive to San Diego 3 hours to come dine here. Food quality and taste are more than amazing! The service is top notch and kind.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was really good, but the highlight of the visit was the most friendliest waitress I’ve ever encountered! Big smile and a great disposition. She definitely made our lunch extremely enjoyable….and she’s a Rolling stones fan :)
We absolutely love Isola! The service is amazing, the atmosphere is energetic and if is great for adults, families, and groups as well. We loved celebrating our daughter's 18th with you all. Pizza was top notch (and it is really good next day as well) and the appetizers were fresh and delicious. We look forward to our next visit. 10/10!
