It's Boba Time San Diego

I arrived about an hour before closing and they were backed up on orders. After putting in an order for the tiger milk with boba on the tablet myself, I waited over 20 minutes for my drink. It appeared the others who had already put their orders in before I arrived (about half a dozen orders) waited longer. While waiting, I heard at least one apology for the long wait, a couple of people checking in on their orders, and one messed up drink order.

I recall not having a bad experience in the past but with the long wait and mediocre boba (it was hard and not very chewy), I will not be returning. There are plenty of boba places in the area that are much better.

Mediocre boba tea. Missing sweetness level options. Only relevant due to its location near great food.

Poor customer service. Forces paying customers to pay for cups of water on a hot day. (A cup of water, not even bottled).

The Americano coffee tasted awful. It was supposed to be hot but came out at lukewarm. It was worst than the instant coffee. The whole shop inside smelled like “just bleached”. I will never go there again

I ordered brown milk tea 25% sweet with Almond milk. Taste is okay but boba pearl is a bit hard to chew. I like the way boba pearl a bit soft and chewy.

Yummy Boba teas at It’s Boba Time! We ordered the pistachio matcha milk tea and strawberry milk tea. Friendly service and didn’t need to wait long to pick up. Nice, spacious seating area. Recommend!

One of my favorite places to sit and work for a few hours! Yummy drinks, good amount of seating, music is usually at a reasonable volume (and they're so nice about adjusting it if it's too loud), staff is always friendly. WiFi is fine (the password is on your receipt), sometimes lags a bit, but perfectly good for emails, studying, listening to music, or other basic tasks. Rewards program gets you a discount every 15 drinks. Other customers are also respectful, usually a few regulars around. Big parking lot makes parking easy. Definitely recommend it for people who work remotely and need to get out of the house.

Literally the best Boba chain. As a vegan, it has real options! ?? The workers at this location are so sweet, nice, and the boba quality is the most consistent amongst the shops and chains down here. We (my sister and i) are true regulars here as former boba shop workers ?. Cheers to drink consistency and service thanks for being so kind. you all deserve all the tips ??. ALSO they UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT when it comes to getting extra toppings. Such a good team

It’s Boba Time is such a nice place to hang out and study while getting boba. I got a choco Oreo shake, Ube shake, and a tea. It was a bit late when they served it. The drinks were delicious, service was ok, and atmosphere was good.

Definitely would recommend!
