Jalisco's is a restaurant I went to weekly when I lived in Imperial Beach. The food has been consistently delicious every time I have been there over the last 30+ years. I am glad to see they are still in business and even happier that the food is still the same great items they have always had. They also have the best chunky salsa on the planet.

The chicken tostada was awesome. We really enjoyed the carne asada enchiladas combo plate. The server was efficient and friendly.
Parking: The Parking Lot is around the back of the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Available through both front and back entrance. The majority of parking is in the back.

I’ll start with the menus, they were so dirty and sticky as if they haven’t been cleaned in a long time. Went to the restroom to wash my hands, there was no soap in the men’s restroom. The salsa for the chips did not look fresh and almost smelled spoiled. The food was ok and the young waitress seemed just a little too shy to be in that profession. My breakfast was alright nothing to rave about. I would give it one more try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they need to work on cleanliness of the menus, making sure there is soap in the restroom, and fresh salsa.
This place has definitely gone downhill in the last few years maybe ownership changed or the owner died disgusting dry food poor poor service dirty tables very disgusting will not be going back here food was really bad. I learned the beef taco special very dry could not even eat it enchilada sauce was gross. An $11 appetizer for a flying saucer is just a cheese on a large corn chip ridiculous. There's no beer or margaritas here either. She offered to make a margarita out of wine I'm like what? I do not recommend coming here. Have one young girl as a cashier doesn't speak English one lady that comes around and replaces your drinks no English. The place looked very dirty and it was only 1:00 in the afternoon on a weekday.

I've been going to this place for 26 years and they changed food is not the same this past weekend I ordered a menudo and a pozole the hominy was not cooked it was hard I called back to ask hey did you guys change the hominy they replied No why I told the lady it's not cooked its hard she went to check and sure enough she says bring back the food for a refund a told her you don't you know about customer service I've been going there for 26 years and now I will never go back food sucks btw this the second time I can not recall why I said maybe it was a bad day for them. But now I know it no good no more I Loved this place don't why they changed it up . Bad move
The flavored waters are charismatic (4.35 dlls per glass) and it is a small glass, pay 13.00 dlls + tax for 3 glasses of water + mine and my wife's food total 48.00 dlls. At the olive garden I pay 42.00 dlls for both.
