Best coffee in town! I grew up not far from here but moved to France 40 years ago. While back visiting my mother I caught a glimpse of the little tree-lined patio tucked away on a side-street right off Mission Village Dr. and had to check it out. Not only are the people who work here great, the coffee is literally the best in San Diego, and better than much I’ve had in Europe. Today I decided to try coffee at JAVA GARDEN. I really liked the interior design — it’s cozy and filled with beautiful live plants and flowers. There are a few tables inside for seating, as well as outdoor tables. I also appreciated that they offer coffee beans, a variety of desserts, and other drinks for sale at the counter.
