Always great experience at Javier's food service always on point! Margaritas are outstanding!

Besides San Diego we dined at their Newport Beach and Irvine location. I assumed the quality would be the same, but San Diego might as well be part of fast food chain, as nothing compares. In addition we ordered a Mai Tai and it was horrible - in fairness not normally served, but told not a problem.We told the server it was beyond fixable and to replace it with Capitan and coke. He informed us their policy didn't allow this. The manger was reluctant , as well, but did after we had no intentions of paying for a drink this terrible. Let me add, the restaurant was uncomfortably noisy and the skirt steak was unusually tough. I would hope Javier's would upgrade this locatiob and until they do, I would reccomend other options.

Lovely experience, my fiancé and I really enjoyed our time there, we will be visiting again.

We ordered the fajitas, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst I've had. The meat was tough and chewy, and there were only four pieces—even though our server said it would be enough to share. On a positive note, the drinks were good.

Only complaint is music is much too loud. Cant have a conversation while eating. As a result i wont come back.

As usual, food and service were phenomenal. Got there early and enjoyed a round of drinks while the rest of our party showed up and then were led to our table.

Always good food and the table service was great, but we had to wait an hour past our reservation before we actually got seated at a table, which is especially challenging with kids. I appreciate that it's a busy place but after checking in with the hostess at 645 for a 7pm reservation, our party of 6 wasn't seated until 7:55pm despite being on time for our reservation and standing adjacent to the hostess stand after checking in with them twice. I'm confident that multiple tables of similar size were seated during this hour who didn't have a reservation meanwhile we were just asked to continue waiting

Great drinks and food. Not a lot of food for the value but the ambiance and atmosphere is great! Worth it! The guava margarita is delicious and the suizas enchiladas are great!

First time visiting and celebrating two anniversaries, and the service and food were exceptional.

I always love bringing people here... It's such a beautiful scene. I always appreciate that. They make gluten-free chips for me.

Alright so ambience and vibes and customer service amazing. The food not so much. I think you are paying for the name because everything tasted similar to an hole in the wall spot in our neighborhood. The presentation of food was wonderful but nothing was special. We order shrimp ceviche and it was basic and they forgot to include the tostada and only served one which is strange for that price. The taquitos were good but nothing magnificent. It just tasted like the ones at our local taco spot, only difference was presentation. I also ordered fish tacos and bit into a shrimp taco and nothing special. The last thing ordered was the worst it was Fideo Del Mar and It sounded amazing but then we got it and it tasted like kraft mac and cheese. We actually just ate the scallops and shrimp and crab and left the noodles and didn't take it to home. It's so expensive here and I don't think the food matches the energy of the ambience.

This place was fun and good to experience. A bit to loud, drinks way to strong! And food was decent but the ambience was good.

Javier's never disappoints. The food here is absolutely amazing, the pulpit ceviche is a must every time.

Everything about our dinner was so good the ambiance the music was perfect. The drinks were delicious and the food let's not forget about that. Definitely would come back here to eat
