Service sucked. Waitress barely checked on us but then tried to clear our table while we were still eating. The iced tea was completely watered down and not at all worth the $5 they charged. The chicken dish I usually get was just as good as always. The stuffed peppers were salty but they weren't mine so I just focused on my chicken. The guy who refills water was super attentive, our server could learn a thing or two from him.

Food was very delicious, service was great. Will definitely go back . All staff is friendly

Our first time in La Jolla and Javier's was recommended by a server in San Diego. Very fun atmosphere and made the perfect setting to reconnect with an old friend.

Had a reservation at 8:30 for my birthday. Was told to wait for my table to be ready. 45 min later was given a table in the parking lot. Hostess and manager were useless in being able to resolve any issue. Good food and atmosphere, but be prepared to wait an hour even if you have a reservation.

This was by far the worst hospitality experience I've had. With false promises, failure to deliver, bad attitude, lack of remedy, poor organization, and lack of sympathy. The hostesses are horrible!!! So rude and mean!!! I made this reservation weeks ago and mentioned it was a family members birthday and I would love a table inside with less people walking by. We were sat in the entrance outside and no birthday surprises were ever delivered. The manager did not apologize once for their failure to meet requests that were made weeks ago. Even though you have a reservation they will still make you wait for a table. They also made to get back up again just to be sat at another mediocre seat.

Love this restaurant. Great food, great service and great ambience. It is on my top 10 list for dining experiences.

Waitress was rude and was rushing us to order before a large group ordered. Difficulty get to and from table due to tables and chair positions. Extremely noises.

Trust the reviews !!!!! The food is mid honestly, I’ve had better from a taco truck. The drinks? Absolute 0/10 don’t waste your money. The outside and parts of the inside look nice, but that’s about it. The only thing worth mentioning is the bathroom, which was actually decent. Everything else? 1/10. Definitely not worth the hype. Wouldn’t recommend. Very loud and trash music too

Very bad experience. Had reservations for 7:30. No table till 8:01.asked multiple time at every time they said you are next. GM should figure out what is wrong if he/she paying attention.

I recently dined at Javier’s and was disappointed with the service. While the ambience is gorgeous, the music is quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation with a group other than the person next to you.

The food was excellent—definitely deserving of five stars. They were limited with gluten-free options and their chips were not gluten-free. However, the service did not match the upscale pricing. My friend ordered a margarita with jalapeños, and they were completely left out. Instead of remaking the drink, the server simply brought jalapeños on the side. Additionally, the staff made us feel rushed, as if they wanted us to leave because our bill wasn’t high enough for their expectations.

Overall, while the food was great, the lackluster service for such a high-end place would make me think twice about returning.

The experience I've had here as a regular is truly amazing. The hosts are always smiling and greet me happily. Isabel and Bella were extremely helpful and caring. The food is amazing and always fresh. The atmosphere is perfect for a buisness casual dining experience. 10/10 would recommend
