We stopped in after a visit to Cabrillo national park. We got a roast beef and cheddar cheese sandwich from the deli. It's a menu item made fresh as we waited. It was one if the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. It was about 14 dollars but it was plenty enough to share and it weighed a ton! We were visiting the area, but if I lived there I would get that sandwich on repeat! Way better than subway, which was our original thought.

We’re visiting from Arizona and staying on Shelter Island at 4 Star resort. If you get tired of paying $$$$ prices then go to Jensen’s. Had a Point Loma steak sandwich, fresh made in their deli department. Great taste at 1/4 the price. We dined under the umbrella out front. This is a local market, not a Von’s or Ralph. Stock up your resort room refrigerator with goodies. Bottle water in room $6.00, $3.00 at Jensen’s.

I go here a lot to pick up a hot lunch. The hot panini sandwiches are great as is the rotating self serve lunch buffet. Sometimes I just grab a quick roll from Sushi bar.

This is my FAVORITE grocery store in all of SoCal. The manager is a charm, haven’t seen him in a bit but he’s always so friendly and asks me about my day. The other employees are also really chill, they know me by name because of how often I’m in there to buy chicken. And their hot food bar is a guilty pleasure of mine. They also have one of those fancy soda machines which is awesome. And on weekends there’s BBQ outdoors. Love it here.

Always an amazing place to shop . Employees have genuine interest in there customers . I got a free vitamin drink one day from an employee. It wasn’t selling and the display was completely full . The next day it had many more of that “new” vitamin drink sold! Simple and cool concept . Win win for me and Jensen’s xoxo

Very upscale regional grocery store. The best thing I love about these guys is they have an ALL deli section from hot foods to 4 different soups to a dessert isle to a full case of sandwich and picnic style foods. Perfect for a on stop shop for a beach party!!!
