I recently ordered a birthday cake from Jessie’s and thought it was decent enough that I returned soon after to purchase another birthday cake. When I came to order this time around, I was told I need to speak with the baker to get pricing etc and he came out of the baking area to speak with me. We came to an agreement but he said he’s got a lot of cookie orders at the moment and would like it if I return after Thanksgiving and he’ll be free to take the order. I had no problem and agreed to do so. Yesterday I went back per his request and the lady at the register- his wife I’m assuming, went over order details with me. I had some questions and she went back to ask him and upon her return I asked if I could speak with him and confirm some information, he came up to the front desk and proceeded to yell at me “because of you I had to waste 36 pies because you were talking to me last time and I forgot to put sugar in them!!” I was taken aback, this is not what I expected at all and I felt attacked, I asked him if he believes it is my fault and he repeated again in a shouting voice and I apologized and said I won’t take any more of his time and he said “yeah I’m busy, I’m baking!” WOW just wow. I supported his business and even bought small treats there while waiting to speak with him and that was the treatment I got. If looking for a beautiful custom cake with the right kind of customer service one would expect with such a transaction…keep looking!

Super nice Hawaiian couple who moved here in the 90’s from Oahu, Hi. He was a pastry chef at then Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki Beach 🏖️ 🏝️ -if you don’t want to make your own pies, allow the professional to make it for you! Great selection and last sundays of the month from 8am-10am the Porsche club meets here

Small mom-and-pop bakery that has become a regular stop for us! I have had "our" bakery for years, but I was trying out a few others because I was planning a wedding and had a different set of criteria.

I tried Jessie's and to my astonishment, their white cake was just as light (probably 50% air) as our usual bakery. Their menu was just about identical to what we were used to, and their turnaround time and pricing were all competitive if not slightly less.

In the end we ended up going with a different bakery for the wedding, but we have been treating ourselves to Jessie's to a cake for the family to share almost once a week, and it barely lasts a week. Can't wait to try some of their other offerings!

Parking: The strip mall parking can get busy at times, but no more so than elsewhere

Jessie's is my go to bake shop for treats and my favorite Fruit Basket Cake. Soft fluffy cake with fruit and cream in the center. It is my go to for all my special occasions.

Ordered a dozen birthday cupcakes last week. At pick up, as the lady opened the box I noticed and said that one of them had a long hair on it. The lady removed it and proceeded to the cashier like nothing happened. Only when I mentioned that that cupcake should have been replaced but too bad it wasn't possible, she gave us a $5 discount. Also, they use plain white cardboard boxes; I had to ask if, at least, they could tape their business card on my box before taking it to the party.
Unfortunately, as we ate the cupcakes nobody liked them. The dough had a strange texture and taste. The other type of pastries displayed at the store look good, but I definitely won't order again nor recommend their cupcakes.

This place used to be my go-to for birthdays, potlucks, anything. I’m not sure what happened but their quality has really gone down. Not to mention the rudeness I received the last time I went in. Hopefully they can figure it out and go back to being a good bakery again.

Every year we get birthday cake for my kid's birthday party from Jesse's. Their cake is always fresh, light, decorated with fresh cream just the way I prefer it to be. The place is hygienic, cake is always ready on time. Cake has many options available in the cake, cream, decoration and designs. I love their cakes and wish them best for their work!
