Jimmy John's is a popular sandwich shop in San Diego. The sandwiches are the same as those found in the Midwest, with fresh bread and great ingredients making for a satisfying meal. Favorites include the #4 Turkey with cheese and extra mayo. The J.J. Gargantuan sandwich is a popular choice, loaded with meats and perfect for meat lovers. The viral pickle sandwich was very different but also very good. The service was quick and helpful. It is a small "hole in the wall" type of restaurant and there's a Dunkin' Donuts in the same building that they share. The storefront is small and combined with a Dunkin' Donuts. The staff were nice and orders were ready quickly.
