My first time trying Jollibee, I've heard some great things about this place. I went ahead and ordered the 6PC Chickenjoy, and I read other reviews raving about the spicy version so I figure I give it a try. Well, the chicken was pretty good, breading was excellent and there was definitely a lot of spice. However, to me the level of spice took away from the flavor of the chicken, and it definitely gave me a stomach ache, even when paired with the gravy. Next time I'd probably try the regular flavor.

They were serving the spaghetti in the gravy cups. Portion sizes is noticeably small in it.

They forgot my drink! And the tenders were dry as if they were super cold. Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend this Jolibee.

Online it says they’re open at 9 and they have their operating hours on their door, but I get here at 10 and they’re not open and the doors are locked. There are employees inside that gave me a strange stare when I tried to open the doors and they’re locked. They aren’t communicating anything about whether they’re open or not, yet there’s a bunch of people waiting outside to go in. They eventually say that they’re not open today unless we order online for pickup, but allow people to sit inside. I go in to order online and they start taking orders from people inside the store like usual. I got my food from pickup and bring it home to eat. The food was cold and bland. I won’t be returning after this time.

No spicy chicken??? WTAF, been 3 months??? Ok, now this place just plainly SUCKS!!! I'm hoping this is not the case for all of their locations. Update: A month ago, I tried to get spicy chicken, they had it! Yesterday, WOMP WOMP, their out again for the foreseeable future. I am not changing my rating until the supply of spicy fried chicken is back and without any supply chain crap excuse. BTW, I did end up getting the regular chicken joy, it was horrible, no seasoning, however it was juicy just a waste of a good bird.

Came here to order some spicy chicken and was told the spicy chicken was out of stock (drive thru lady's exact words) and they don't know when it'll be back in stock. First time hearing this. Seems like every time we come to this location they never have spicy chicken or we have to wait for them to make it. Do better jollibees.

Food as a Philippino is reliably 'Jollicious'. Service, location capacity, atmosphere needs a little bit of improvement.

Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was packed! I've always loved the smell of their chicken and glad there's one in the neighborhood. Ordered the ever popular pineapple quencher (delicious but sweet) and the 2pc chicken joy with fries. Their fries are really good cos they're crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The chicken has a nice crisp to it but ultimately not that flavorful and I don't care for the gravy, which I know, is one of the reasons that makes this place popular. For a fast food joint, I felt that service was pretty slow. Albeit, it was busy, but we still waited about 15 min to get our food. Good amount of seating inside and they had some outdoor seating at the side of the store as well.

Oh Jollibee, everyone talks so much about how wonderful and amazing you are, yet I feel differently. Being the self-proclaimed "pseudo-Filipina" that I am, I just cannot wrap my head around the hype!! Like, okay, I thank you so much for naming one of your most popular dishes after me (lol jk!), but it is just NOT that outstanding imho. I have driven by your Mira Mesa location countless times, but last night was my first time going to the drive-thru. I ordered the 6-Piece Chickenjoy Bucket Bundle which comes with your choice of 2 sides and 2 drinks, along with 6 pieces of their Fried Chicken. The menu price at the drive-thru was $20. I thought I got a pic of it, but it slides to show another part of their menu, so I missed it. Idk where the extra $3.60 on my receipt came from, but I'm going to assume "inflation" and that they haven't updated their menu prices yet. Anyway, the food was aiiiiiiight. I did like the crispy chicken and that they only put dark meat in the bucket. The gravy for dipping the chicken tastes like any other brown gravy you can get at a grocery store. Nothing special. So you dip the chicken in it and eat it. It's yummy and would probably be so damn delicious if you were starving or something. However, on a regular day, it's okay. The sweet spaghetti, which most Filipinos are known for making in their own homes, is just that. Mind you, the packets of Dole spaghetti sauce can be purchased at Asian stores. I have seen them at the 88 Ranch in Temecula and at various Seafood City locations. I am not sure if they make their own in-house sweet spaghetti sauce, but it has cut-up slices of hot dogs if you dig that. Not my thing, but I'll eat it if it's there. The pineapple drinks were pretty good. I liked the taste and haven't had it anywhere else, so that's a plus. It's not carbonated, so it's like a juice. I don't know when I'll get a chance to actually sit inside to dine in and eat, but when I do, I'll update this review. I forgot about the peach mango pie, which I will definitely try next time. The parking lot is kind of cramped, as it sits behind Starbucks. Prices are a bit overpriced for basic food. I give them an "A" for effort, but I'm just not a die-hard fan of Jollibee. Sorry guys! Glenn A. says my Filipina card needs to be revoked, lol! That may be so, but I am what I am and I like what I like! Good effort, guys!

Came back here after a long time only to see the same mismanagement pre covid continue -- always sold out of spicy chicken. Even a total idiot ought to be able to manage inventory better. So I think their spicy chicken is a loss leader, and so they make a tiny amount to keep customers attracted. Why not just charge more and let free market play out?

Nylvi, you were such an awesome representative for Jollibee! Nylvi helped me sort out an Uber Eats mishap and took such great care of me! Thank you so much! Mabuhay, Jollibee!
