First time dining here and we visited during Friday night dinner time. We were pleased to find out there was plenty of available parking. The strip mall which JKHP is located in depending on the day/time of week can be VERY difficult to park. We were given one of their booths and promptly served their complimentary Korean side dishes plus our water for the table. We had done a little Yelp research in JKHP prior to driving here and was pretty sure we were going to order their Galbi...

Hot soup is generlly nice. Such a nice option for those who love Korean style tang menu.

However, tonkatsu is not a good choice on the menu of Gamjatang place. It tastes a bit overcooked. They did kindly provide the new one, but it tasted slightly overcooked again. Maybe the oil was the problem.

Anyway, I highly recommend this place for Gamjatang.

The restaurant's signature dish, Gamjatang, is delicious, but the staff's service seems a bit lacking in friendliness. In addition, parking spaces are limited during lunch and dinner times, so it is recommended to park on the street.
