We always have a fantastic time at JRDN. The food and view area amazing. The service is always great but this time it was exceptional. Our waiter was WILLIAM and he made our dining experience the best!!! As we were exiting the restaurant, other clients were also exiting and they commented to the manager that WILLIAM was the best waiter they had ever had. We had the Salmon and the Wagyu burger, both were delicious. The Cab was also wonderful. Next time you are in PB go to JRDN, you wont be disappointed!!!

We celebrated a special milestone birthday and had an amazing dinner. Our server was Evan and let me just say he was excellent. Friendly, informative, and just a really nice man. We were last couple to leave the restaurant and yet he never made us feel rushed and served an excellent brownie with Happy Birthday spelled out. The patio was beautiful as we watched the sunset and the food yummy. Thank you JRDN and thank you Evan for help to male a special night even better.

We made last minute reservations here to watch the sunset from a dining patio and the experience did not disappoint! The vibe was modern but relaxed. The food was delicious. I had the salmon salad and it was a generous portion with about 3- 4 oz of salmon. My spouse had the skirt steak and mashed potatoes. Since I tasted his too I can speak into it! It was also very good and good sized portion too. The cost was as stated - about 30-50$ pp. which is not bad considering the food we got and location next to pier. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. The valet parking at the hotel was also extremely efficient. If you park there you can get your parking validated at the end (2 hour max) and your parking is free. We tipped the valet (and the server of course) It was a lovely evening that did not disappoint from beginning to end!

We had breakfast at JRDN this past Saturday. The view was beautiful and the service was wonderful. The valet workers were also very friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back!

Everything was great but the seating, reservation was for 8:30pm outside on the patio. We got there early, checked in and asked if anything might be available sooner if we could be seated and if not no biggie we didn't mind waiting. They said sure give us 10 minutes and we can seat you in your desired area. Waited 50 minutes, which was 10 minutes past our original reservation time, went up to check and she was searching for our reservation and said oh your next and they called us and sat us right in the middle of the hallway. Terrible seat, even after we waited well over our original reservation time. However our waiter was great, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and while I was a little disappointed in the seating issue, it was still a nice meal.

Very good location expect to pay $25 for the closest parking lot to the restaurant inside is a sport bar style outside seating is more for the romantic scene. Ribeye was very very good

The service my husband and I received tonight was extremely poor by our waitress. She looked at us multiple times while standing at the bar talking to other coworkers and didn't come over to ask us if we would like to order for 15+ minutes. When she finally made her way over, she didn't introduce herself and acted inconvenienced to be serving our table. She was very short and only came around 3 times, one of which we asked other waiters and waitress around our table for our waitress to come back. We came here to celebrate our anniversary and it wasn't acknowledged at all by our waitress. The fastest services we got from her all night was after we asked for our check. The experience was unfortunate as my husband and I enjoy coming here and have always had great experiences except for this evening.

Celebrated my birthday with my family and Phillip was our server and gave us a 5 star experience! I've been here many times and every time has been top notch. From drinks at the bar to full service dinners it never disappoints! Phillip made sure we were well cared for and always with a smile and we never felt rushed. The view is always amazing and the sunset was over the top. As a native San Diegan, this is on my list of top 10 things to do in San Diego☀️

My husband had the shortribs and really enjoyed them, our son ordered a sushi roll and asperagus and was very happy with his order, and I went with the waiter's recommendation of mussels which were absolutely delicious. Our waiter was Arnold and he delivered attentive, knowledgeable, impeccable service. We will definitely go back.

Soooo loud. Mediocre food, we've been several times over the past 5 years & food quality seems to be going down. And the service not great at all. It seems the staff is always just too busy. This has been a go to when friends visit from out of town but I'm afraid it's getting taken off our list, sadly.

First visit to JRDN and it was great. The outdoor seating has an epic view of the boardwalk, beach, ocean, and Chrystal Pier and they have heaters when it cools down in the evening. The food was great and my kids reported that the oysters were amazing! It got busy at the end so it took a while to get the check but we weren't in a rush... so no big deal. Our server was great and the rest of the staff was friendly and quick! Thanks for a great meal!
