Literally so incredible. We are not from San Diego but found this place on our last trip 2 years ago and loved it. I’ve been thinking that açaí bowl ever since and so for our trip this past week we purposely stayed somewhere close to here? we got bowls 4 times in the week we were in San Diego, if that tells you anything. The owner is so nice as well. Highly highly recommend!!

The most amazing smoothie bowl you will probably ever have. Homemade nut butters and granola with fresh fruit, honey and hemp seeds. The coconut sorbet on the Wave is creamy and perfect! Order and then eat the bowls by the beach for a mission beach experience. Lovely owners too! Dog friendly.Vegetarian options: I believe only non vegan item is honey which you can ask for without.

As a Mission Beach veteran, i discovered Juice Wave 5 years ago. Arleigh is a bright light who creates all the products with local ingredients from the farmers market and her whole heart and soul. There’s a seasonal topping on the açaí bowl and you can choose homemade peanut butter or homemade almond butter (my fav). It’s been an honor to see this small business flourish and grow. I can guarantee this is the best acai bowl you’ve ever had. There’s also homemade granola made w love that fills the store w the yummy smell and you can buy a granola candle to savor the smell or as a Xmas gift !!
